Terrible doesn't come close! Rude staff! Especially hotel Manager Andy Allsop who was slovenly and scruffy with an equally displeasing manner! When asked to move room he point blank refused and had a terrible attitude! He clearly does not give a damn about his customers and portrays a manner to reflect! He refused to give me his name and loudly...

I was unfortunate enough for work to book me into this "hotel" First of all upon arriving the building itself looks dirty and worn out, the photos the hotel advertise are about 30 years old when it was just opened or photoshopped heavily. Upon entering reception everything looks okay and staff were polite enough. I made my way through the...

Have stayed here a few times with work recently and overall the hotel is in need of a refit. Most things function, but are outdated and just do not lead to a great stay. On several occasions I have had no hot water, the room looks like it has not been hoovered due to dust build up. The beds are...

Had an overnight stay on business in the area and had a small budget, so had to find somewhere cheap for B&B. It's fair to say this is a budget hotel and appears horrendously outdated whilst still being advertised by Britannia as being modern. It certainly has a real 70s feel to it in the communal areas, and yet the...

I have stayed at this hotel for the past few weeks with work, and overall it covers all the basics but not very well. There, is a bed, TV and shower, but all not great. The TV can be an old tube style, or old flat screen. The shower is often cold, so need to have a bath. There is...

I stayed here for 3 nights whilst attending a course. I arrived in my room to find the door had been left wedged open and dirty towels left on the bathroom floor. The floor had clearly not seen a decent vacuum cleaner for months and I noticed the extractor fan, which was at eye level in the bathroom, was filthy...

This is by far the worst ever hotel we have ever stayed in. Food was very poor buffet style. Rooms were like going into a time warp back to the eighties. Cleanliness was only ok. The front entrance door was broken and therefore you had to sit in lounge or bar with your jacket on....a joke! From the outside it...

If you are looking for a hotel that is a 70's throw back, carpets are held together with duckedtape, rusty baths, corridors that smell like an old people's home and delightful cast iron mattresses then this is the place for you. God forbid you want any cooperation from the staff as you won't get it Ask them to accept a...

On arrival at the hotel it was a telling sign... the front doors were broken. The welcome from the reception was ok. The reception area however was untidy with people everywhere just standing around. The location is good as it is on the main road to Birmingham, however I had a room on the sixth floor facing the road and...
