This was a centrally located hotel perfect for our trip to Cadbury World. It was a basic Travelodge room as was expected and we were on the second floor. A ten minute walk took us to a great Indian restaurant - Millennium Balti. There were no drinks for sale at the bar - it does say this on the website...

Stayed in this travelodge as went to a gig at barclaycard arena, it was only 25 minutes away. Staff were all so friendly and happy to help. Hotel was surrounded by amenities and on a road but couldn't hear any traffic noise. Everything lovely and clean, beds really comfortable and lovely shower. Breakfast was nice and fresh and staff were...

Up to the best of Travelodges and very easy access to Birmingham by bus. Everything went well and the breakfast was fresh and good. Rooms were clean and functional and additional tea and coffee were available on request

Three of us booked to stay here while visiting friends. Within 10 minutes of going to our room we found a pair of pants and a jacket just under the bed, we took to reception to complain that the room clearly hadn't been cleaned properly . The staff very apologetic & offered us all a free breakfast which we did...

I usually quite like Travelodges. This one has friendly staff and super comfortable beds. OOnly 30 mins of free wifi. It is looking old and run down though and the area isn't great. It wasn't an awful stay by any means and we'd probably go back for a short stay. Just don't expect real luxury.

One of the beds had pubic hairs in it lucky it was a twin room and the second bed hadn't been slept it absolutely disgraceful that they couldn't change the bedding on both beds do not recommend this place also loads of social housing tenants making a noise throughout the night really annoying.

Location excellent for National Trusts and local Lucky Tails Alpaca Farm. Staff at the Maypole really friendly (I asked for spare tea bags and got a bag full x). Very clean room and hot water. The breakfast service was very efficient and as soon as people vacated a table, the staff thoroughly cleaned the table and set out clean cutlery....

Literally the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. What Travelodge won't tell you when you book is that they have taken the corporate decision to accept asylum seekers from the Council as full time residents. I was surrounded by four rooms full of NINE children who rampaged through the corridors like it was a zoo - until 2am. This restarted...

Room basic as expected, bed comfortable. Hotel also used as temporary accommodation by social services. Running and shouting along corridor and noise from room above meant very little sleep. Paying customers should be warned about this before booking.

The room was good value for money. It was very clean with all necessities provided (hairdryer etc) and everything worked well. The cafe and reception areas were very nice too. It was easy to find and car parking was free too.
