Room basic as expected, bed comfortable. Hotel also used as temporary accommodation by social services. Running and shouting along corridor and noise from room above meant very little sleep. Paying customers should be warned about this before booking.

The room was good value for money. It was very clean with all necessities provided (hairdryer etc) and everything worked well. The cafe and reception areas were very nice too. It was easy to find and car parking was free too.

My stay in the Maypole Hotel was great, the room was clean and well equipped and the staff at reception were very helpful. The breakfast was excellent value and just below the Travel Lodge there is a KFC and a Subway so you won't starve.

For a one night stay just perfect. The beds were comfy, it was impeccably clean, the staff helpful. Parking was easy and free, and there were shops around which were handy. I expected it to be noisy at night but it was fine.

This was a first visit to a Travelodge and it was a pleasant surprise. Staff were very friendly. The room was clean and pleasant with an en-suite shower room and a comfortable bed. A good hot and cold buffet breakfast was served in the small eating area by reception. As the hotel is sited above a Wilkinsons store, a Halfords...

Stayed for 3 nights, Fri - Mon, comfy beds, warm rooms, efficient staff spoilt by noisy kids and older siblings - parents need to take more responsibility for late night (early morning) revellers and their younger siblings charging around corridors and doors slamming at 7:00am!

No problems with staying at the maypole. Would definetly book again. The room was clean and comfortable. Was in a good position to see all of the family and easy to get to from the motorway. Would recommend to others.

You know what to expect at a Travelodge hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. The shower was good but I found it difficult to find a good temperature and I don't like fixed head showers and curtains. The position of the hotel was good for me, a short drive to Birmingham city centre, about 20mins. However it did take a...
