OK. For the price you pay for this hotel, you don't expect the Ritz. The matress on the hard bed is thin, but surprisingly comfortable. The shower is like a cupboard in the middle of the room. But for the price you pay, this hotel is perfect. A great place for a sleep after a night's drinking (maybe that helped...

Firstly, the staff are incompetent and can not even give directions to the alternative parking properly. After 35 minutes of driving around in circles and several phone calls to reception for help still no luck which then resorted on me actually going into the hotel leaving my car on the street to physically speak to someone face to face to...

The Ibis Budget is within walking distance of the city centre and is a 'no frills' place to stay. Having said that it is very clean, room has TV and towels provided. There is the facility to buy drink and snacks 24/7 and they offer a continental buffet breakfast for £5.50. If you are looking for somewhere to 'rest your...

Not the most friendly of services, management reluctant to take any responsibility, a shame as the Ibis down the road has wonderful staff. Room was basic but worked for us, it was clean and quiet throughout the night. Close to china town and O2 academy which was convenient. Get what you pay for but a shame that friendly service was...

We just spent 2days in birmingham at the ibis budget hotel birmingham. Staff very welcoming on arrival.rooms small and bathroom small but for 30pounds a night you cant complain. Only a steady 10 minute walk and you are in the bull ring .close to all amenities overall very satisfactory..

No kettle facilities in the room either.parking is on a first come first serve basis, at £7 - however don't leave as your lose your space!!! really really basic, beds are like being on an air bed. Does what is says on the tin - a budget hotel, cheap with no frills but who needs frills when you only use your room to shower, change and sleep. Excellent location with just about everything within walking distance. Can be a lively hotel but security in reception make the place feel safe. If, like us, you wake up with...

Rooms are basic and functional the hotel is handy for all of Birmingham. The beds are very low and uncomfortable and the shower and toilet are tiny No carpet on the floor so akin to staying in university halls or a youth hostel but for the price paid it is good value

Great place to stop for overnight stays of one night. Great location up the road from the Mailbox with wide range of eating options. Rooms very clean and friendly staff. Avoid the rooms at the front of the hotel as the road noise will have you awake from 4am.
