Dear 427emmajanew Thank you for taking the time to post a review of your recent stay with us. I apologise for the noise inconvenience you experienced during your stay. Whilst we do attempt to mitigate noise from external venues, this is not always possible and unfortunately, sometimes our guests are disturbed. Although you didn't get a decent sleep, I am pleased that we had spare rooms available and our Nights Team were able to offer you a move to one of our Courtyard facing rooms. We have a scheduled refurbishment programme which has recently seen the furnishings replaced in all of our double bedrooms and this will now be extended to our single bedrooms starting in January 2019, and will include the improvement to the double-glazing, sound proofing and corridors. Thank you for acknowledging the friendliness and helpfulness of our staff and it's great to read that you enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Please feel free to contact me by email to graham@conferenceaston.co.uk should you have any queries. Best regards, Graham

At Aston for a workshop on Thursday

Pretty standard conference offering in terms of conference rooms and facilities

However, I was very impressed by the catering - in particular the lunch which I thought was first class

The poached fish curry and mezze was excellent

Stayed in Conference Aston Hotel as I was attending a football match at nearby Aston Villa. The price was competitive in comparison to the more pricey city Centre Hotels. It’s hard to know form the outside that it is actually a hotel. The reception area was welcoming and very wel

Dear dpl060378 Thank you for taking the time to post your review. I am pleased that you would recommend us, but am extremely disappointed that you found our breakfast to be average and have asked our head Chef to look into this matter as we generally receive positive feedback on the taste and quality of our breakfast offering. You stayed in one of our single occupancy bedrooms which are furnished with 3/4 or Queen size beds to provide a more comfortable sleep for our guests. Your comments about the corridors are quite valid and we are currently looking into various design options and will be refurbishing them in the coming months. I trust that you enjoyed the '10-goal' football match, and hope that you will choose to stay with us again when you are next in Birmingham. Best wishes, Graham

do I need a key card to get into the hotel or the lifts?
You can get into the hotel and lift but when you get onto the corridors with the rooms on, you can’t get past the door without a key card.

What is the latest check in please?
Hi Kate Our Reception is manned 24-Hours a day so late check-in is not a problem. We generally lock the front doors at 11pm. If you arrive and they are locked, press the buzzer by the doors and our Night Receptionist will let you in and check you into the hotel

Hi Could you let me know where parking is nearby to the Aston ?
Hi Redmel You can book parking online on Conference Aston's website. TripAdvisor don't allow web links in Answers so you can search it. Carpark 12 is on the campus and about 2 minutes walk from the venue. You can also download the 'How to get here guide' on the same site. Alternatively you can park in the Millennium Point Car Park which operates a Pay on Exit system and is about a 5-minute walk from Conference Aston. It's located off Jennings Road, B4 7AP Hope that helps. Graham
