Having decided to have a Christmas shopping weekend last week in Birmingham. We found the fountain Inn on line and going off the photos and reviews alone we booked it as never been before. What an excellent place right in the Gay Village and very close for shopping and eating out. The staff were so friendly and everything is well...

Room 3 the suite was a bargain, decent sized room, tastefully decorated and modern. Huge bed, nice quality linen, extra pillows, fantastic walk in shower decent TV Cappuccino machine just outside. £85 keys so you can come and go as you please and really quiet Who could want for more

Having booked to see a concert in Birmingham, and never visted the gay village, we thought we would book a room here. The accomodation is situated above a gay pub, our room was very well equiped, with modern interior and wet room. Spacious, well furnished, comfortable bed and clean. This accommodation is located above The Fountain Inn and as it was located above a bar I didn't have high expectations. However how wrong could I be, the room we had was really spacious and decorated to a good modern standard, it was really clean and I got a really good nights sleep after a night out around the gay...

Great value, staff are really helpful and the rooms are very modern and clean, the staff are helpful and knowledgeable, would highly recommend it. It is centrally located and easy to get to and from. The rooms are quiet and the bathrooms are lovely

Spent Friday and Saturday night here. Lovely comfortable room and superb wet room. Hosts were very friendly. Loved the pub downstairs too. Very handy for the city centre and the gay quarter. Cant wait to stay again.

A really nice boutique style hotel. The decor in the room was super stylish and there was free NICE coffee and fruit in the hall. The shower was amazing and the room was the perfect temperature. This is the second time staying at The Fountain Inn in Birmingham Tucked away around the back of the Chinese Quarter is this oldy worldy looking pub. But inside it's very nice & pleasant until you go upstairs to the hotel. Its very boutique like & the rooms are very nice & all come with a modern wet shower room...

This place is clean,friendly and right in the heart of Birmingham.Thanks guys for being so friendly and professional.My room was spacious with a big wetroom.I also liked the tea and coffee station outside my room.There was sweets,biscuits,fresh fruit and a good variety of drinks.

Well . I love the wet rooms and lovely showers here . You can come and go via a side door so you have privacy too . the bar is just downstairs if you fancy a snifter. Nice choice of beverages all in and complimentary fruit and biscuits too .

We are a small independent gay run hotel centrally located in Birmingham City Centre. We are situated above the Fountain Inn bar in Birmingham's gay village just a stone's throw from the rest of the bars and nightclubs. The hotel offers clean, comfortable, modern rooms with 24 hour private access. All rooms have an en-suite wet room. Double bed, king size in most. Clean linen and towels, a Freeview TV and an alarm clock. Ironing facilities are also available as well as a complimentary coffee station offering fresh fruit, biscuits and hot drinks. Free Wi-Fi is also available throughout. Owing to the hotel being above a bar please be aware that some noise will be heard during the bar operating hours especially at weekends. However the bar does not operate until the small hours and closes during the week at 11pm and at weekends around 2am. ... more   less
