Booked this hotel at the last minute as going to classic car show at NEC. Tried loads of other hotels but fully booked this hotel had some rooms available i now know why. The hotel seems ok as you walk in very dated in decor but staff friendly gave us the key and told us where the room was door... More

Despite reading reviews for this hotel saying decor was dated I decided to book this hotel as lots of people said great friendly staff and great food. We found the Staff very friendly, food great and fantastic value for money and would defo stay there again. Its just 10 minutes from city centre and M6 in easy reach Well done... More

My en-suite room smelt in this large b&b of stale water as the windows had not been open to let out the smells. The shower was tiny too and was a bit cramped. The corridors, eating area and my room could all benefit from some urgent re-decoration as all of the rooms that I saw were 1980's in design and... More

very friendly and efficient staff. The room was fine, although the bedding needs to be renewed. The towels were clean. There were 2 showers and a bath on my floor. They were clean and ok, except I could not get one of the showers to run hot water, but the one next door worked well. The bath was a bit... More

Waited for over ten minutes to check in as the receptionist was serving at the bar. Room 19 was not clean and there were hairs and filth in the bathroom. I went to the bar for a glass of wine to find they were all on the shelf covered in dust. The shower was cold and not powerful at all.... More

We weren't staying here, but we're joining my niece and her family for a drink. They were staying for 2 nights to attend her father's wedding in the area. We found the staff very welcoming and the hotel to be clean and tidy. It is located very conveniently for major road networks.

Stayed here recently, the whole place was very dated and in need of a make over. Our room was decent sized but randomly had a shower cubicle right next to the bed ( not a bathroom literally a shower cubicle) you had to leave the room to use the toilet and even that wasn't the best. The lid of the... More

I stayed here on Saturday 30 July as I was attending a friend's wedding party nearby. I had read some of the reviews and was intrigued: some are glowing and some are hostile! My own preferences for hotels is normally Premier Inn: clean and comfortable. But characterless. Rollason Wood has character to spare. Friendly. Comfortable. Clean. Plenty of space. Pretty... More

The only good thing about this place was the WiFi. I asked for the ground floor, and ended up climbing up into the loft. Finding the room was a nightmare as I was given only vague instructions on how to find room 28. It took me 5 minutes of dragging my bags up and down stairs, the place is designed... More
