Visited here in December with my partner. Great location in the Mailbox, right on the canal. Handy for restaurants and shops in the Mailbox and pubs along the canal. 10 minute walk into the centre of Birmingham. Friendly staff and very clean but maybe a little overpriced. You can

All the staff were friendly and helpful, a credit to the hotel. The car park is a bit of a trek
Breakfast lovely, the room was clean and the disabled room we’ll laid out, with plenty of room for the wheelchair.
The down side is it’s noisy as the window is only single glazed. , s

Great location in the Mailbox. Modern trendy design throughout. Room was fine though was disappionting that the sheets were stained.

Dear PavlosEd, Thank you so much for taking the time to review our property. I am glad that you enjoyed the location of the hotel and our proximity to most bars, restaurants and arenas in the central area of Birmingham. I'm disappointed to see that you had an incident in regards to the bed sheets and I truly hope this was resolved for you in a prompt fashion after reported. In regards to our lounge and bar area, it is open to the public until 11PM and although we did have a big afternoon tea booking on the date of your stay, that is no excuse for you to feel ignored as a guest and for that I would like to extend my sincere apologies. Please know that your feedback has been shared with the hotel team in a way of understanding how we can improve the experience of our valued guest's, such as yourself. I hope that we get the chance to serve you again, whenever your travels bring you back to Birmingham. My kindest regards, Front Office Manager Marina Aurel marina.aurel@acbirmingham.com

Dear Richard F, Thank you for reviewing your stay with us! I am pleased to hear that you have found the staff service efficient and enjoyed our breakfast choices. Our hotel is indeed located in the heart of Birmingham, with a wide choice of bars and restaurants in the area, and our Superior rooms have the canal view. It was a pleasure to have accommodated you, and we are looking forward to your next stay! Kind regards, Marina Aurel Front Office Manager marina.aurel@acbirmingham.com

If you book on the senior rate does it include breakfast. If it doesn’t how much does breakfast cost?
We booked breakfast the night before and pretty sure it was £9.95. Excellent choice available.

Is there a wheelchair access from the car drop off area?
Sorry I have just seen this question. The hotel fronts the wharf which is reached by several steps so I would suggest calling to confirm access arrangements sorry I can’t help further

Hello - just a quick parking question, how safe and secure is the Mailbox carpark? I am always slightly paranoid about leaving my car somewhere I don't know overnight!
it's ok. it's as safe as all the other ones. don't leave any valuables in the car.
