After reading the poor review's about this hotel I was skeptical but have to say was pleasantly suprised!! The rooms were clean, warm & the bed comfortable. The only downside was that you could hear through the walls so clearly it felt like your neighbours were in the room with you!! This wasn't a huge problem as we stayed on...

Possibly the worst Hotel I've stayed in. This is more a motel rather than a hotel. The hotel is chalet style rooms with the entrances on the outside and set on 2 floors. There are no lifts only stairs. The room I was given was on the first floor and facing the street. Firstly the outside lights were not working...

Yes, the rooms are a bit dated, but ours was very clean and absolutely did the job for a one night stay within walking distance of New Street station. The bed was very comfortable. There isn't really any soundproofing, and in common with other reviewers this should be improved (I'd read the review and brought ear plugs so heard very...

Three of us stayed here in October 2016 for two nights in order to attend the Star Trek 50th Anniversary convention and had two rooms between us. When we arrived, we buzzed at the prison-like gate (which as it turns out wasn’t locked anyway!) – no-one spoke over the comm system and just buzzed us through – not reassuring in...

Really good location for O2 Academy, on site secure parking was great. Check in went very easy and quick. Rooms very old and I don't think they are very secure. Our room had a very strong smell of TCP.

We stayed here for one night to go to Birmingham Christmas market. We were pleasantly surprised by a gated entrance and very happy that although we had to pay for parking (£5), we could keep the car there until 5pm the following day, meaning we saved a fortune on parking. The rooms are basic but aren't too bad. Good location...

Very basic motel type rooms. Bed was clean and comfortable, bathroom was clean. Not very private rooms, people walk right by your bedroom window to get to their rooms and the walls are thin - some very fruity language from the room above us. Not somewhere I would take children or go for a romantic weekend but as a cheap,...

I stayed here on the 26th of November with my fiancé when we arrived it was very welcoming and so we're all the staff, very chatty and couldn't do enough and they were very helpful (as we wasn't familiar with Birmingham). The room was very nice and fairly clean (just odd mark on towel), food was nice and reasonably priced...
