I have not stayed at a Travel Lodge for many years - we were very pleasantly surprised. This hotel is clean, bright and very comfortable indeed. The young chap on reception was helpful, pleasant and polite. Certainly have changed my mind, would be glad to return.

Located just outside of Birmingham costs approx £12 in a taxi to the City. Ideal for Business. There isn't a restaurant on site however just a few mixtures walk away there are a few places to eat. Very clean, staff are great, very friendly, nothing too much trouble! I will be returning next week for work!

I expected a little more for £69 by way of even a shower cap for the type of shower. Also little things like a toilet brush and a bathroom sink that allows the water to drain much quicker, given that there were two of us sharing. I know they are small things but would have made a big difference. The...

Many thanks for your review. We feel that we offer all that is needed for a comfortable night’s stay. We do not provide extras which other hotels may provide so we can keep our room rates low however we understand your frustration and we are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. Last stayed in a travelodge a few years ago and was a little let down. Booked this one due to the close proximity to the bmx track and was very surprised. Room was loads better than I expected. We had family room. Plenty of space clean tidy ang welcoming. Will definitely be looking to book this one again when back...

Tip: Great Cafe next to the hotel which serves hearty breakfast for a great price! Con: no local newsagent or shop within walking distance to pop and get anything which is a downside. Good pizza place round the corner for a late night snack if hungry

Perry Bar seems to be a very new Travelodge. Clean, secure and warm. No restaurant or bar but there are several within a short walk. Takeaways literally around the corner. Staff are friendly and welcoming. A decent location a few miles out of the centre, a short taxi ride away.

Excellent Travelodge! It was very clean and well maintained. The room was spotless, as was the bathroom, which had a great shower with a nice strong pressure. The staff were all super friendly and very helpful. There's plenty of parking space. Also a lovely clean little cafe just outside.

We stayed here just for one night whilst doing some business in the area. We are also back for two nights in October whilst going to the NEC. The bed was very comfortable, room & bathroom was spotless. I can recommend the 10 min walk to the one stop shopping centre & the lodge cafe next door.

Many thanks for your review. We’re pleased that you found our Dreamer bed to be very comfortable and that your room was spotlessly clean. It’s great that your overall experience was a positive one and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again soon.

Was a good choice for a first time stay at a hotel. I attended a family reunion at a venue on the same road as the hotel so location was very convenient and made my stay a good one, Was also visiting my son in another part of Birmingham so to have the bus stops nearby to get to the...
