We regularly stay at west Bourne lodge. Located on a quiet street but close to many local restaurants and bus routes, easy walk into city centre 20-30 minutes. Norma is always cheerful and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms very clean an comfy. Happy to recommend!

Nothing was too much trouble for Norma, the owner of the B & B. Bedrooms were lovely, as was breakfast. Doughnuts were offered late afternoon, fruit etc. There was a bar where drinks could be purchased. Norma was very helpful, booking meals for us, and advising on transport. Can think of no criticisms. Do go to Birmingham and stay at...

I stayed with my mum on August 17 and I have to say I will gladly return. The Westbourne Lodge is the best place to stay when you're in Birmingham. The breakfast and cleaning is done to a very high standard and a big choice for breakfast. With hot drinks, squash, biscuits and cakes all free and available all day....

A great place to stay when my husband and I were down in Edgbaston for T20 finals day. Norma was really welcoming and our en suite room was spotless and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and the staff very pleasant and efficient. Will certainly stay again whenever we return for the cricket.

Arrived early at 11am for our two day stay and was greeted warmly by Norma, owner of the establishment. No problem at all and shown to our spacious room on the first floor. Comfortable bed and bedding with pleasant bathroom and efficient shower. The garden and outside patio was very pretty and if the sun had shone, would have spent...

Made to feel very welcome on an overnight stay whilst attending a conference at the University of Birmingham. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast as well, and tea, coffee and cakes available all day. Thanks for the hospitality.

A very comfortable small hotel in a quiet road a short bus ride from the centre of Birmingham. We had a very warm welcome from the proprietor, tea coffee and cake available all day! Pleasant breakfast room and an attractive garden. Very good value for money.

We stayed at Westbourne Lodge on a bed and breakfast basis for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. We were warmly welcomed by Norma and shown around the hotel including the dining room and the fully equipped kitchen which was available should we prefer to self cater our evening meal. The room was very clean and comfortable, especially the...

Went with 2 kids. We got a complimentary breakfast for our room being close to the nightclub. Very nice experience would stay again. Great bar and nightclub. Car park situation is a bit strange. Rent the city bikes in reception. Very central. Great town drogheda.

I've always liked the comfort in warmness, and that's why lovely hostels and small hotels fits me best especially when I'm traveling alone. At such times, finding someone with a peaceful voice and smiling eyes makes me feel like I am not alone. Fortunately Norma was there for me in Birmingham. Her place reflects her kindness and sincerity; it is...
