Nice friendly welcome from the proprietor. She gave me directions to where I could get something to eat. The room was ok. The shower didn't have any non slip mat and I nearly had a mishap and almost fell on my way into the shower. The room was extremely noisy with passing traffic. It kept me awake from approx 4.30...

Dear Sir. Apologies for the housekeeping oversight. WL is situated in a very quiet side road with only fields and gardens to the rear and very little passing traffic as reviews testify. Unfortunately there must have been a disturbance of which I was unaware. Most rooms are over the garden or side facing and can be requested. Breakfast starts with...

The Westbourne Lodge is a comfortable place to come back to after a day in the hustle and bustle of downtown Birmingham. There is nothing missing from the list of amenities available. We especially appreciated the fridge in our room. Tea and snacks are available most anytime. Norma, our host, could not have been more accommodating. The lodge is located...

Very comfortable B.& B. with a fantastic "full English" breakfast and a friendly welcome when we arrived. We had a family room which was a good size with a "proper" single bed NOT a fold up camp bed which our daughter found was very good. Our room was at the back overlooking the garden and extremely quiet with a good...

We stayed here for one night only. Lovely clean, comfortable place with fabulous hospitality. Only one pillow each on the bed and in hindsight, I wish I'd asked for more but otherwise I cannot fault this accommodation.

We arrived tired, from a long flight from Minnesota. Norma, the owner, welcomed us, and gave us a beautiful, immaculate room on the first floor (we are an older couple). Coffee, tea, cookies, biscuits, and juices are available all day, plus a bar, until late evening. The dining room and back gardens are elegant. Westbourne Lodge is convenient to the...

Stopped at the Westbourne Lodge for first time. Was greeted very warmly by Norma. Had a complimentary afternoon tea in the beautiful, peaceful garden. Our room was very tastefully decorated and even had a small fridge and a fan in the room which was very useful. Parking was no problem either. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would...

We were warmly welcomed at this hotel by Norma the owner. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable - there was plenty of hot water and tea/coffee, fresh fruit and cakes were readily available each day. The hotel is situated in a quiet residential road with plenty of off-road parking. There was a television in our room and free Wifi. Nothing...

What a lovely owner, so chatty, helpful and good breakfast chef. Only stayed one night but as now have family in Birmingham, will probably go back. Comfy bed, clean bathroom fully equipped with all your requirements and access to tea, coffee, fruit and snacks.

Very good traditional B&B with a real land lady. Comfortable rooms with a great breakfast. Just what I needed. Very helpful staff and a nice surprise of a bar on site. Quiet location so a good nights sleep and a short ride into the city centre.
