Alround +ve experience. Front desk staff arranged to fix our room for twin set-up. Very helpful. Pool in the spa area was popular with lots of people booked in for various treatments, but didn't seem too crowded. Lovely big hot tub and steam room too. Room very comfortable; we were on the top floor, so no noise issues either from... More

I took my mum on the over night spa break with breakfast and lunch and a treatment. The service from the moment we entered the hotel to when we left was 100%. We arrived early starving and the lady in the breakfast room was so accomodating to us I wish I could remember her name. The rooms are lovely clean... More

Great hotel, Friendly reception staff, clean rooms. Great gym and spa with lots of amenities. Great food in the bar. Breakfast the usual standard expected at a Marriott. No executive lounge but was give drinks tokens to compensate. Signs up about work being done but didn't impact me. Enjoyed myself and would definitely go back.

Our first room was a twin bed room but we had to move due to the safe being broken, they swiftly moved us to a family room with two double beds (so us best friends had a double bed each!!!) sooooo comfy, like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfasts are well worth paying for, buffet style and eat as much as... More

I stayed here for about a week and it was good. My first experience of a Marriots in the UK as tend to stay at them when abroad. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedrooms were so clean and lovely! Room service was available. Though I wasn't a fan of the dinner, the breakfast was great and once... More

I thought the hotel was very well located. Staff were good and attentive. Check in process went smoothly, if a little slow.Overall a good hotel at a reasonable price. Worth considering if you are in town on business.

Very pleasant staff and small, but comfortable room and bed. Bathroom very clean and towels decent. Nice toiletries and flannels - these small things can make all the difference! Would certainly recommend this hotel. Only caveat - £13.00 to park the car overnight - a trifle expensive, but not unknown.

Warm welcome upon arrival. Unfortunately we cannot remember the gentleman'sname but he remained friendly throughout our stay. The superior King room was very spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast very good. Service excellent, especially from Bradley and Aiden. Fried eggs and omelettes are cooked to order. The other hot food is self service, but still good quality. Porridge cooked to order... More

The hotel wouldn't our choice again. Overall the comments are: Room Was ok, clean and a good size. However the hot water took forever to start running. You have get it run for at least 15 min until is hot - what a waste of time and water Staff Staff was really nice and helpful Restaurant Oh what a disappointment.... More

I am gutted by your comments. Your experience in the restaurant is not typical and I need to resolve this to ensure it is a one-off. My sincere apologises for that. Gordon Tyler - General Manager More

Nice hotel with nice rooms of a reasonable size and good sized bathrooms as long as you remember to pull down the window blinds so you don't startle passers-by. Breakfast was good with a reasonable spread but kippers etc are extra if you go down the B&B option. All the staff we came across were very helpful. The gym and... More
