Went to the Westmead today as a large group for a birthday celebration. The service at the bar was atrocious - we had to wait for an extraordinarily long time whilst it took 3 'bartenders' to pour one pint of lager. This was after one of them had to ask which pump was lager. There was no professionalism and no...

Had a bad night here and would not stay here again. Arrived to be given a room with not enough towels in it for two (sharing a bath towel is something I don't do thank you very much). Anyway, staff were polite and sorted swiftly. Room, however, has seen better days. Architrave coming away, filthy walls, damp on ceiling, windows...

We booked the hotel as part of a package with Cadburys world and it didn't disappoint. 2 adults and 2 children ( 5yr and 1yr) we were all happy with our stay. We stayed in the Westmead suite which was huge and very welcoming. The staff at the hotel were very friendly. The choice for breakfast was great too! The...

Lovely hotel. Very helpful staff. Bedrooms were clean and tidy and the bathroom was very clean and well stocked. Breakfast had plenty of choice for adults as well as little people. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Cadburys World or the Think Tank Museum.

Stranded close to here I was a little grumpy - then I met the front of house staff at this hotel - very professional - informative and helpful - thank you! This is a privately owned hotel so no chain rubbish - 4 teabags instead of the usual 2 and milk to match! The biggest bed ever - even for...

Breakfast is overpriced, room quality is lacking and outdated. bathroom was not sufficiently cleaned. stains on quilt cover. Beds are extremely uncomfortable and a "double room" consists of 2x 3/4 beds pushed together: great if you're a couple that doesn't like to sleep near each other or have an argument ! If not, prepare to fall down the gap. There...

Six friends visited the west mead hotel for afternoon tea. It was lovely. Plenty of sandwiches, cakes, scones, tea and coffee. Price about average. We paid £11.00 each. Staff were on hand if you needed more hot water or coffee. Tip: you can have this in the bar or restaurant, let them know when booking.

We organised an employee after Christmas party at the Westmead Hotel on an organised theme night. Staff at the hotel were superb throughout from time of booking to the end of the night. The prices were exceptionally reasonable and the food was amazing. I have received some fantastic feedback from my staff commenting on how the food was exceptional for...
