stayed 2 nights in October 2016. the guest house is obviously a residential house in a residential area and on the main road. car parking was tight, i suggest reversing in from the main road. only space for 4 cars at a tight squeeze if you all want to come and go as you please, put a 5th car in...

What a lovely couple accommodating, warm, friendly, helpful couple. Room explained fully microwave and fridge in room, also allow takeaway orders to have in if you don't want to go out. Comfy bed, good sleep, very quiet area, parking available free. Bus stops are right outside. NEC less than a mile away, lovely little village down the road for food,...

I booked a room at the Clovelly 4 weeks before my travel date through laterooms.com. A week before I was due to travel with my 2 young children I contacted the hotel to ask the best way to get to them from the train station. They took my details and informed me they didnt have myself and children booked in...

We stayed here for a few nights due to proximity to airport and NEC. Run by a lovely couple Stan & Josey who did a nice breakfast. Rooms downstairs seem the best and bathrooms on the small side. Free wifi which is a bonus and Stan is good for local knowledge.

We stayed at Clovelly for an event at the nearby Genting Arena. Having read some reviews I was a little concerned but needn't have been. We were greeted and shown to our room (and how everything worked) quickly and pleasantly by Stan. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a fridge, microwave, TV, tea/coffee facilities etc as we expected from...

Whilst the proprietors were lovely friendly people (though a little over-friendly if you like your own personal space!) the accommodation itself was sub-standard. The en-suite attached to the rooms was more converted broom-cupboard than anything else, with so little space you could hardly turn around, and the en-suite fixtures were old and not well maintained. The face lift that the rooms...

Stayed at Clovelly for two nights this week, just wish we could have stayed longer. Stan's breakfast was a gourmet experience that was more than excellent and his advice and tips about getting to the NEC were worth the cost of the room alone. It is true that the staircase is steep but it has been there since the house...

We stayed there for one night prior to the Motorcycle show in November. The room was booked by a company and not us. Reading some of the other reviews, I was bit cautious, but by the end of our stay, I think the those reviewers are being harsh and forgetting there's a difference between a hotel and a B&B. The...

This one must come close!! We stayed here for one night, as like other visitors, we were going to the LG Arena. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Stan and his wife, whose name I can't recall. Stan showed us to our room, the only double room in the property, and proceeded to talk ten to the dozen telling us...

i agree with all the one star reviewers. We arrived and the landlady was totally clueless. Her husband can only be described as a bit of a buffoon with constant praise of 'all the services his B&B was providing. We were led up a very steep set of stairs was in my opinion were outright dangerous. The room was very...
