Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hotel's Favourite
Jacob on reception was v kind and gave me a nice quiet room as I asked. Stuart and Eve and Joshua (Josh) in the Duck (Beefeater restaurant) are absolute superstars! They are so kind, lovely and really looked after me. Thank you so much Joshua, Stuart and Eve for all your kindness and wonderful hospitality! Superstars and genuine kind lovely people. I really felt looked after. Thank you too to Jacob for allocating me a nice quiet room where I was very happy and got a much needed peaceful nights sleep after a busy exhausting week, also thank you to Russell and the room cleaning team who kept the rooms so lovely, tidy and clean! And it was lovely to see Sharna on reception as I was leaving in the morning who I remembered was v nice from my last stay too.

We use the premiere Inn on Hagley road Birmingham every Sunday on business. We have got to know the staff quiet well over the years in particular Ken and have been very grateful with the service he has provided our company. I would definitely be booking here with my family in the near future.

Room was tired, scruffy and filthy dirty. Items left by previous guests were still in the room. Carpets were worn and scruffy and sofa bed was just as bad. Two small pillows on the bed, we had to ask for extra pillows as there were no more in the room. Bathroom was also dirty and scruffy. On three occasion our room key didn't work so we had to go to reception each time to have another key cut. The only saving graces were Jacob and Ann on reception who were great. I have also been charged for a booking I did not make. Breakfast and dinner at the Beefeater adjoining the hotel were good. Needless to say we will not be returning, save your money and stay elsewhere.

Standard room, nothing special. Stayed at hotel for good price and local to where we needed to be. Slightly disappointed as the hotel could not resolve a blocked toilet issue and luckily used family members toilet facilities, although they had another room but could not stay in the room

I was woken by a male staff member entering my room with no warning or invitation. I was lucky my partner stayed with me last minute so the guy didn’t expect this and ran away. When challenged he gave an excuse that hasn’t been verified by the hotel. I’ve tried to complain through all their suggestions, ringing, email, complaints form and nothing from the hotel at all. They have zero idea about female safety so I would not stay here or at any premier inn again.

Recommended by two friends also attending NEC. They had stayed a number of times, and it certainly lived up to their recommendations. Plenty of car parking with disable bays. Very pleasant reception and all the staff at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and we had 2 good nights sleep. The breakfast and dinner deal is excellent value, and the food provided by Beefeater was very good, as was the service.
