I stayed at Woodbrooke B&B twice over 2 separate weekends as I was on a course in Birmingham. It was perfect. My single bedroom was a great size with a large study desk and it was extremely quiet. Most rooms don't have TVs but there is more than one communal TV room at the property. The gardens there are stunning... More

I stayed here for several days following a conference held at this location. The building is old, with many parts added on at different times and it can seem like something of a warren upstairs. Most of the rooms are en-suit, warm (it was November when I was there) with comfortable beds. While I was there the building was very... More

Although this is a Quaker Study centre you can just book b & b. I was working near the University & Woodbrooke is 8 mins drive. It is a place of calm in the rush of Birmingham with a very friendly welcome. Very clean & warm & a competitive price.

Meals are organic and freshly cooked and at least as good as at home. Beautiful grounds. Perfect lounge with books... More

Located in a leafy smart area very close to Birmingham City Centre and easily accessible by buses located outside Woodbrooke itself - I found the staff helpful, the room quiet and acceptable and the building itself very interesting especially the large room where Mahatma Gandhi spoke in 1931. Breakfast was very good! I even found a tv room in another... More

I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. On your next stay you might want to enjoy staying in the bedroom that Mahatma Gandhi slept in, although he opted to sleep on the floor! I hope we can welcome you again in the near future. In friendship, Marc More

Great room - small but everything you need; parking on-site; fantastic food - especially the vegetarian options; coffee, 'papers and soft chairs available and the most wonderful, varied , gardens to wander through. It's peaceful, but you don't completely lose the outside world unless you choose to (ie. choose to watch no TV, stay on-site). My four-night stay, full-board, provided... More

This is a Quaker Conference Centre where you can take bed and breakfast without a course. You are guaranteed some fascinating conversations over your meals with international visitors. The food (you can get full board of you wish) is delicious with lovely salads and always vegetarian options of high quality. The staff are extremely helpful, the rooms well equipped with... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review - we really appreciate it.
