Just the one night here as a family visit. Up market from the usual Premier Inns. Not too expensive. Lots of parking spaces. Conveniently placed on the Hagley Road. Quiet comfortable rooms. Good buffet breakfast.

Many reviews will complain about this hotel being 'dated', 'tired', 'in need of refurbishment' and while this, to a degree, is true, if you want everything perfect and pristine there are other hotels you could go to ..... and pay the price for. We have just had a 2 night break, for 2 adults, including breakfast and it cost £84....

My friend ad I stayed here while taking exams at the hospital. We arrived to find the reception area full of dogs. It turned out Crufts was on the next day but we're not aware dogs were allowed or we probably wouldn't have booked as I am allergic, but not the end of the world. The receptionist was quite abrupt...

A very bad experience and never will think of staying at the Cobden Hotel again. The bathroom was mouldy, unfinished plaster work, dead wasp in the bedroom and worst of all I was bitten by BEDBUGS which I only discovered following day when I started itching. My room was changed after reporting the state of the room. I followed this...

Seriously needs attention. Shower did not work. Needed to be given another room at the hotel to shower. Grim decor, funny smells, overpriced for what it is. Only went here due to an emergency with our airbnb. Stay away until problems are addressed. Staff meh.

We booked here as they have fantastic family package including Cadbury world tickets room was clean and big enough for 1-2 nights, room was cold when we first got in but the heater warmed it up eventually. Due to package you can use pool so that was good for kids, close to city centre for popping for food for dinner....

Stayed here for two nights to watch a concert in the Barclays Arena with my girlfriend. Reading previous reviews of this hotel made us a bit concerned. We honestly can't understand the bad reviews about this hotel. For the price we paid, the room was amazing and very clean. The staff here were excellent and helped us in every way...

Positives..... Reasonable price, good location, pleasant reception staff, room warm and adequate Negatives Spa /pool /sauna and jacuzzi where dirty and in need of serious renovation, there was brown scum floating on the jacuzzi, and it was overloaded with chemicals that burned our eyes, the sauna and steam room are situated in the corridor between the changing rooms, the grid that...
