Paid for a room a number of years ago and had to cancel. The hotel confirmed with me that the amount I paid would be put on my account and I was free to book whenever I needed. I understand I came back to my account years later but there was no stipulation of an expiry date to use the credit which I paid for. Emailed the hotel management and they don’t want to let me use the amount I paid and made very little effort to resolve this with me. So essentially I paid for a service that I cannot use and the hotel are not fulfilling what I was told which I find very dishonest of them. They should not be telling a customer one thing if they don’t intend to fulfill it.

This place is amazing! What a treat to be able to stay is this iconic Birmingham landmark. The rooms are all on the 17-20th floor so have brilliant views with floor to ceiling windows. The rooms are clean and well set up with cooking facilities and the staff are super friendly and helpful. This accommodation made the trip and we will be returning again soon for more fun in Brum!

Stayed here over the bank holiday weekend and loved it! Had several communications with the hotel prior to staying to arrange a bottle of Prosecco for my mums birthday which went down a treat! Arrived early and they were able to store our bags. Said they would text us when the room was ready. Stayed in the club room the one bed suite and it was amazing. Staff were friendly and attentive. Things worth noting: Room was very warm when we came in but two fans were in the room so that cooled it down The sky box doesn’t show sky channels more freebies channels but no big deal.

We had a one stay in a clubman apartment as a birthday treat for my partner. The views from the floor to ceiling windows were exceptional! We were there during a heatwave and the staff had left a couple of big fans for us as well as bottled water and ice, which was appreciated! Unfortunately though the bedroom window/door didn't open as the handle mechanism was missing so we were unable to open this to create a breeze so it was still very hot! I was dissapointed with the cleanliness in the kitchen area, when I moved the chopping board to use, there was visible dirt. When I attempted to use the coffee machine the following morning, it obviously hadn't been cleaned and stank of sour milk which could also be seen in there. I didn't use it! Overall we had a good stay, but for the price would have expected more attention to the little details.

Had a recent one night stay here as a stopover in a cross country trip and an exceptional place. Right in the middle of the New St/Bullring area but felt safe with fob entry etc. The reception staff were top notch, efficient, friendly and welcoming. The apartment quite awesome, not only spectacular views but beautifully appointed with little extras like fruit and fresh milk in the fridge and pretty much any gadget you'd need. I've reluctantly taken a star off as there was only lukewarm water in the morning both in the bathroom and the kitchen taps, as I was about to depart it didn't seem worth making an issue out of it. Overall I'd happily go back.
