I booked this as a last resort as there were no other hotels available. I didn't check the rating as I would rather have stayed in my car. If there is a bigger dump of a hotel in Birmingham I don't know where it could be. This place is truly the pits. Quite simply, don't stay, you will regret it!...

Don't get me wrong the manager at reception was a kind lovely women and we'll mannered. Unfortunately first impressions count, the outside of the hotel looks like a prison. With bars over the window, the smell hits you as you walk in. Our room smelt of body odour. The website shows the hotel to be reasonable I'm sorry but it's...

Filthy and run down. We stayed there for one night on a business trip. The room was disgusting. Caged window, cobwebs on the curtain pole. Red paint overlapped onto the adjacent white (at one time) walls, filthy radiator, the cable for the kettle was sticky and was too big to fit into the sink to fill, there was brown damp...

The Prime Lodge is probably the cheapest accomodation in Birmingham, but beware; you get what you pay for. I needed a cost effective one night stay, but the benefits end there. The corridors leading to the ensuite room, and indeed the room itsself are in need of redecoration. The shabby dark room was warm and the bed comforatble. The TV...

My Husband and 2 sons booked in here as they were returning from the FA Cup Final and wanted to relax overnight before their Journey back home. OMG what a mistake (my fault for not reading the reviews as was in a rush and the website we booked it through only had a couple of reviews). They had to pay...

All I can say about this place is that it is awful.... stinks of damp, the bathroom flooded when we had a shower due to a hole in the bottom of the shower tray, a "clean" towel given to us had dried blood on it, and the smoke alarm was hanging off the ceiling..... NEVER AGAIN!!
