when we arrived you had to ring a buzzer to get the door open, which would have been fine if it did not take the receptionist a few minutes to actually do so! When we entered the room it was very small and basic. Very unhygienic with wall paper coming off of the walls in the bathroom, copious amounts of... More

Arrived into a dodgy looking car park, had to ring a bell on a fire door to get in as no entrance. Smell of cigarette smoke in hallway and the room......... I have paid £40 many times for hotel rooms and they have all been palaces compared to this place. The carpet in the room was absolutely filthy with countless... More

Carpets old and filthy. Furniture dirty and worn. Stains and smears on walls and ceiling. Unpleasant odours. Dirty bed linen. Decor... that would be an insult - a selection of dated canvasses just made it feel even sleazier. (A four year old could paint better - even taking the mirror off the wall before painting might have been a good... More

This hotel was dirty! Smelled of smoke in the room, toilet didn't flush properly and the seat was cracked. The shower was so dirty we didn't want to use it and they only provided one towel! There were stains on the walls, mirror and bedding. The carpet was sticky, the wardrobe had no doors or hangers and i did not... More

Grim on the outside and grim on the inside, staff helpful but room was very poor. Bathroom hardly any room and very badly put together, grills on the windows, if there had been a fire in the corridors would not have been able to get out, polystyrene tiles on the ceiling, absolute fire hazard should not be allowed to be... Switching between accomodation booked this place for 5 nights. The first room allocated was downright horrible, bed sheets looked dirty, smelled disgusting and not fit for habitation. Went to the front desk and was alocated another room. This room was a little bit better . Suffice to say I stayed the two night and after securing alternative accomodation I left.... More

Despite the lady on reception being very friendly and nice and the place being relatively clean (relatively!) this place was absolutely horrendous. The only reason we had to stay here was because we were let down at another crappy place in Birmingham at the last minute. Unfortunately we had no other choice, don't make the same mistake as us.

In a delapidated building on a noisy roundabout with barred windows by the entrance which is an old fire door. The reception and rooms were clean but comon areas felt grimy. Staff welcoming but this feels like a hostel for the homeless
