Location is dodgy, but pretty central, nothing to complain about. Breakfast was hostel like and free, just like the all-day coffee. I've seen worse bathrooms and lounge and rooms were ok. 1 letdown is no 24h reception. 2nd: the PODs are more like coffins. Sold as fancy japanese style cabin with 360 degree light (whatever that's supposed to mean). Climbed...

I am probably older than the usual people who stay here so I may have higher standards but other than the girl on reception who was lovely, the rest of the accommodation was awful. Our room was dark and dingy, the curtain was hanging from the rail so couldn't be pulled across. There were two women having a loud conversation...

Very clean, beds comfortable. Opposite coach station and not far from new street station and city centre. Check in not til 2pm (but thats the only negative thing about it.) Free tea/coffee all day. Good kitchen facilities.

The Birmingham Backpackers hostel is only a few minutes walk away from Birmingham Coach station and only 10 or so minutes walk away from Birmingham City Centre. So it is in a good location if someone is travelling by coach and is planning on visiting Birmingham City Centre as well. The atmosphere in the hostel is laid back, and the...

I can say it is the second worst hostel I've stayed in. The neighborhood is a bit strange. Reception is not 24 hours. Cleanness is not something they care about. If you are allergic, do not book a bed. The buildings smell dusty and the second building smells cigarette too, even if it is not allowed to smoke there. When...

This place is fantastic no mater if your alone or with friends, the atmosphere is great from other travellers and the staff and it's so relaxing there. Price is cheap and with free Wi-Fi you can't go wrong and it's only a few minutes walk from the city train station

Had a great time. The staff was awesome and place was well kept. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend it. It is walking distance from new Street Station and the bull ring. Great location. Plus free breakfast and towels if needed.

Easily one of the best places I have ever stayed at. Staff is great, and rooms are clean. I have stayed there twice already and had a great experience both times. Will deffinately be coming back there again.

I've been to hostels before, mostly in London, and I've never seen an hostel like this! It's very clean, amazing position near the city center and they give you to possibility to keep your food and cook in the hostel! I'm gonna give it 4 out of 5 just because I had a problem with the locks in the showers...
