We stayed with Annie in her fabulous B&B in the centre of Stratford for two nights, as we had tickets for the two Wars of the Roses plays at the RSC on consecutive evenings. Her offer is perfect in every way: our room, the Garden Room, was very comfortable indeed, clean throughout, well decorated and with a splendid en suite. Annie manages the breakfast service with a simple rota and an ordering form. This works very well with no inconvenience to guests, rather it’s to guests’ benefit, as everyone’s breakfast is freshly cooked, and well cooked too. There’s a good range of dishes on offer, including the traditional full English, as well as cereals, lots of fruit and toast etc. Annie and the staff we met were very welcoming and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The inclusion of free parking is a huge bonus in Stratford. Any negatives? No!! We’ll be back for our next RSC visit.…
We had a lovely stay in this exceptional bed and breakfast. Annie was a lovely host, and nothing was too much trouble. Brilliant breakfasts and everywhere was spotlessly clean. So convenient too for the theatre and town centre.
Had a brilliant stay at this guest house, I was in Stratford for the marathon, Annie and James were so helpful with recommendations for places to eat and were happy to make me a special breakfast ahead of the marathon. They were so welcoming and friendly and the rooms were immaculate if we are back in Stratford we will be staying here again and would recommend it to anyone
Garden room is beautiful & the quality of the decor is outstanding. Lovely patio with table & chairs which we took advantage of over the bank holiday weather. Annie & James are excellent hosts & nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is again top quality produce & top quality service with Annie being front of house. The staff are genuinely friendly & polite & add to the making you feel special experience. We thank Annie,James & staff for opening their beautiful home & welcoming us as they did, this is a definite place to stay & is only mins from the town or train station. We did use their parking which was safe & secure.
Breakfast options exceeded our expectations for a B&B Our room had been totally refurbished and looked clean, fresh and welcoming. The free Wi-Fi in our room (1) was amazing offering a Response time (ping) =12 ms, Download speed = 69.6 Mbps, Upload speed = 24.6 Mbps. The front garden is attractive, a fountain, box hedging and an abundance of flowers. There are six parking spaces to the rear of the row of properties marked out for Twelfth Night guest house. We would gladly stay here again without hesitation.
Annie was really friendly! Stayed in an attic room and it was beautiful, spotlessly clean, lovely decor and attention to detail was great! Breakfast was delicious! Ideal situation for sightseeing or the racecourse and good parking facilities.
A warm welcome awaited when we arrived, we were able to pop our luggage in the room and get our key even though we were early, we spent the day in beautiful Stratford which included a river cruise and then a little drink in the oldest pub (The Garrick) We ambled back to the guest house where we were checked into the room and shown where the kettle was so we could make tea. We ordered our breakfast for the morning and then went out for the evening. This morning lots of choice at breakfast, cereal, fresh fruit yoghurt etc large pot of tea (or coffee if you prefer) and a perfect cooked breakfast with toast. Absolutely brilliant host very welcoming, totally recommend.
Both hosts were so accommodating and friendly. The BnB was comfortable with lots of thoughtful additions to make the stay very welcoming. Great location to pop into town which is a short walk away, and an excellent breakfast.
From the time we arrived to the time we left Annie and James couldn’t have been more helpful. The whole place was spotless and it was a joy to be in a room where there was plenty of lights so many B&B rooms are like caves with the lighting.the room was just the right temperature and the bed very comfortable. En-suite was warm with toiletries in cupboard. Coffee and tea making in room with biscuits.Breakfast was excellent and the range of product and cooking superb. All covid requirements were met. Parking at back of property if you check availability. If you want a very quiet room ask for one at back but my daughter said her room at front was quiet. Ask Annie for eating and visit recommendations, she knows her stuff.
Great location. 10 minutes to station or centre. Lovely Victorian house beautifully furnished. Our room was spacious and inviting with nice little touches. Great breakfast and the hosts Annie and James were very welcoming
