Quite simply the best! Lovely spacious rooms, delicious food and extremely welcoming! Bill is fantastic and goes out of his way to be friendly and helpful. He really makes his guests feel as at home as possible, including providing very kind lifts into the town centre and to the theatre! Not to mention the warm welcome with delicious homemade cake...

We stayed with Bill just before Christmas for two nights. I have never met a more friendly host. We were welcomed with tea and homemade cake, which made me feel more like a returning friend than a paying customer. I had told Bill on our arrival that we were going to venture to London on the train and he provided...

An old friend and I meet occasionally between Derbyshire and the South Coast, we chose Stratford for the location and local attractions. We were referred to Bill at Moss Cottage by a competitor which turned out to be a very good place to stay. Bill was most helpful and welcoming, gave me a cup of tea and cake on arrival,...

My husband and I spent two nights here at Moss Cottage on our honeymoon. We haven't met anyone as welcoming as Bill; he was fantastic! He gave us a lift into town the first night (which isn't far but helped get our bearings) and cooked up a beautiful breakfast each morning. We had such a nice stay and honestly, the...

We received a friendly welcome, including tea and home made gluten free cake, along with useful advice about what to see and do in Stratford Upon Avon. Walking distance of town centre. Comfortable room with many thoughtful touches and good breakfast selection.

We had the good fortune of a recommendation for this wonderful little B&B. Bill, our host, was absolutely wonderful, the rooms superb and no request too small and Peter's strawberry jam and marmalade fabulous. If you are in Stratford-on-Avon, Moss Cottage is the perfect place to stay and Bill your perfect host. Stuart and Nancy, Ottawa, Canada

My husband and I stayed at Moss Cottage this past August while we were in SUA for a friend’s wedding. Our experience with our hosts was terrific, from the moment we reached out online to check about availability, to the moment we left. Both Bill and Peter were very helpful and provided excellent tips on restaurants and how to take...
