My wife and I have stayed at the Mercure Stratford-Upon-Avon Shakespeare Hotel three times and each time we leave we cannot wait to return. It's quiet and yet in the heart of the town centre near to all the bars, restaurants, shops and a very short walk to the fantastic theatre. The value for money is exceptional given its location,...

If you are visiting Stratford upon Avon and would like an excellent hotel right in the middle of town complete with a superb restaurant look no further. The ancient structure creaks and groans as you walk around but once in your room there is silence and a good nights sleep to be had. We enjoyed a junior suite (Room 140)...

We stayed in this hotel for one night, from 11th to 12th April. Despite the fact that we've paid over £110 for the room and booked with 2 months in advance, the receptionist has allocated us at the Garrick Wing. The room, located on the level 0 and having windows pointing straight to the street, was terribly smelly and outdated....

Bit of a late review as we stayed in December. We Stayed in a junior suite ,room 212. Really nice and an actual suite with two rooms ( I've stayed in other hotels which a sofa at the end of the bed is classed as a junior suite!). The room we were in may not suit an elderly or infirm...

I stayed here one night on business and had a ground floor room allocated in the Garrick Wing. Overall the stay was positive, and I would look to use this hotel again. The room was huge, but suffered with traffic noise until early evening, even with the secondary glazing closed. The bed was large; however it was of the type...

We recently stayed at the Mercure in Stratford Upon Avon for a 3 night stay. From check in to check out the hotel was faultless. It is very centrally located right in the middle of town. You literally come out of the hotel door and you are only a 5 mins stroll from any of the main attractions. The hotel...

Just got back from 2 nights in this lovely hotel. Don't understand some negative reviews about this place. We really enjoyed, a lovely room with a super comfy bed for a great sleep. A great location to enjoy the delights of this beautiful town. Really nice staff as well. We will be back soon. Thanks.

Lovely little friendly hotel. Nice restaurant attached Marcos, brilliant receptionist. Only fault was the incredible noise from the creaky floors. Very central, right in the centre of Statford. £10 a day parking.

Lovely hotel in a brilliant position in the centre of Stratford. It has a slightly old fashioned air but that adds to its charm. We stayed here with our wedding party and were given excellent service. The bedroom was comfortable and reasonably spacious and the bathroom was excellent! The breakfasts were good and the bar staff very helpful.
