Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely hotel but no restaurant . The room was splendid spacious and beautifully decorated . Lovely bathroom and lots of wardrobe space . The receptionist was welcoming . It’s walking distance to all the main attractions in Stratford upon Avon. Parking is not included . The breakfast was very food and the waitress was very polite .

We arrived at the hotel to check in to be informed they had not allocated a room to us and they were now fully booked. They then said the main man has a room reserved as he was was due to repair the plumbing in the bathroom. We had no other option but to accept this room. The bath panel was bodged in place with some sealant, which fell off. The tap was too big in the small sink in the bathroom, the water came over the top soaking your clothes. The curtains in the bedroom was too short allowing light in the room and lack of privacy in the room. The room overlooked the roof top with 2 huge kitchen extractor fans at 6am the roared and that was how it remained. Not a result night at all. The room was tiny nothing like advertised on the pictures and extremely hot and uncomfortable. We asked for a fan with no avail. The main stairs in the hotel were dirty. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, it was very expensive for what had. I have one recommendation AVOID and save your money. On a positive note the location was ideal for local amenities.

Not the best hotel but good location, no food served only breakfast, only a few minutes walk to the centre but was a poor and well used hotel, wouldn’t go back, we stayed when we had the heat wave a fan was in the room but it only circulated the air, window only opened a few inches and it’s was far to hot 🥵

Our stay was ok, so we we decided to rebook for another trip as found a good price. But our stay has now been cancelled, as apparently the hotel is closing down (again), so we are left without a hotel. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere.

Room was absolutley disgusting. We had our 5 month old baby but unfortunately we arrived at midnight and couldn’t get booked into anywhere else. The room stunk of fags & damp, reception wanted nothing to do with us. Carpet was all stained and carpet looked like it was left off fags 🤢

We have just checked out of our stay at this hotel. All we can say is that it is fantastic! The room was lovely and clean and perfect for our family of 4. There were lots of complimentary tea and coffee facilities in our room with a full size kettle. The breakfast was delicious, with a lot of different choices, full English and continental. Free wifi which was really fast. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and Nick, the manager went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect stay. Would highly recommend and will definitely be staying here again.
