Beautiful old building with lovely and friendly staff. Our room was lovely and quiet. The room was a lovely size, the bed was huge and comfortable. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Everything we could have needed but they could definitely do with upgrading the televisions! Nice and walkable into the main town centre.
Recently celebrated my husbands 50th birthday at the Alveston Manor Hotel and a great night was had by all. The food and service was excellent with the staff being attentive and on hand but not intrusive. A big thank you to everyone!
We stayed here in January and were disappointed so we were invited back again . I am sorry but this hotel does not live up to expectations. The coach house room (deluxe double ) was small with the worst bed I have ever slept in . Breakfast the next day and many items were not available
A cheery greeting by reception, porterage for my luggage - to a beautifuly furnished room with a King size bed, Amenities were superb - en suite bathroom with marble wash basin & ample supply of fluffy white towels. TV, tea-making facility, iron & board plus hairdryer all provided in room.
Not a hotel for the elderly or disabled, stairs and steps everywhere with no lifts or ramps. Our first room in a two night stay was terrible in urgent need of freshen up, mixer taps did not work in bathroom , so hot would take skin off hands, heating air con did not work, freezing cold. This was De Lux Room, moved us to a suite on 2nd night, not much better but bearable. Lounge Bar was badly managed, parties not staying at hotel were very noisy and no respect for guests, breakfast not much better, asked to sit with members of large party we were with , told no room when it was bearly 1/2 full. Hotel Indigo in future !!!!
