We had a wonderful New Year break at the Arden Hotel, as a group of 14 family & friends, to celebrate my 50th birthday. We were impressed with the brilliant service we received, from the initial enquiry and booking, the welcome when we checked in, the service in the restaurant and bar, as well as the wonderful gala dinner and party for New Year’s Eve. Compliments to the chef for the delicious gala dinner, everyone in our group really enjoyed the meal, and also the attention to detail for our daughter who has a nut allergy and was given a personalised menu. We also enjoyed dancing to the fab band and the midnight munchies. The rooms were really comfortable and the location was perfect for exploring the town. We would definitely recommend The Arden without hesitation and would love to stay with you again in the future. It’s difficult to single anyone out for praise, as everyone was so friendly and attentive, however I would like to commend Mehmet for his brilliant service with a smile - he’s a credit to the team! Thank you for helping to make my 50th birthday celebration a memorable one!

Central hotel with a beautiful location on the riverbank opposite the RSC. It’s only a short walk to the shops/restaurants. Very secure parking. Felt very covid safe. The hotel itself is very spread out over a few levels. There are a lot of steps between reception and the rooms in the form of small staircases which makes access a problem if you’re disabled. The rooms are well laid out and very well equipped. All of the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Would recommend if able bodied.

Room Tip: Avoid if you have mobility issues. Just due to the stairs which are everywhere.

My wife was bought an afternoon tea at Arden Hotel for her birthday & we were so impressed with the overall experience. Firstly, the reception staff were really welcoming & pointed us towards the dining room. Despite the fact that we were almost 30 minutes early the restaurant staff accommodated us immediately. My wife is a bit of a fussy eater & they were happy to adjust the menu accordingly. When the food was served it was really tasty. In addition before we finished the cakes, the staff were very happy to provide us with an extra pot of tea to wash down the excellent afternoon tea. However, without us telling them, they discovered that it was her birthday celebration & they gave her a small birthday cake to mark the day. What a wonderful gesture!

I would highly recommend the hotel. Plenty of parking and a great location. The hotel is spotless. There are Covid measures in place - breakfast well spaced out and the food at breakfast was delicious. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely. We would definitely stay here again

We stayed here for a weekend away and were so impressed. The location is outstanding, right in the centre of Stratford, opposite the RSC. We wish we’d booked to go but will certainly return to do so. Staff were outstanding, couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was tasty and they happily accommodated by husband’s special off-menu request. The room was lovely- big comfy bed, nice bathrobes, deep bath. All in all a fantastic stay.
