The location is ideal for visiting museums, shops and anything else that takes your fancy (pubs!!), also handy for the bus and railway stations, not too close but a nice walk especially after a late night.

Second time we have stayed here whilst up to watch football. Great location, bit grim inside but staff are good. Would recommend if you want to be close to the city centre, easy to get to the metro, pubs, shops etc.

Room was clean and warm. Staff helpful and the hotel was well situated. Problems finding the car park meant I had to park in a nearby NCP car park. Would recommend this hotel to others for a city break.

Close to the main shops including shopping mall. Right in the centre but in a quiet area. Currently quiet at night but houses across the road currently being renovated for student accommodation so noisy during the day with workmen. Also makes it difficult to locate hotel and parking. We managed to find other parking for a good deal so didn't...

Most uncomfortable Premier Inn bed I've ever slept in - had to shove a towel under the edge. Room very tired with peeling paint, tatty carpet and a chipped bathroom floor. Our room had an adjoining door and we were kept awake by a violent sounding row next door for 2 hours - we heard every word they said and...

We went up for a two night stay for football & Darts. The staff were very friendly and the rooms a nice size. View over scaffolding was not too appealing but we spent the days out of the hotel. Also had to pay for parking which I thought was included.

Room is acceptable and hotel is suitable but no heat and no phone! The staff were good but nothing they can do if there is no heat in most of the building. I like the location but can't stay there again unless they rectify the problem.

Great spot, great welcome, spotlessly clean and brilliant price. The room was clean, comfy and spacious and the bed was great. Adjacent car park at discounted rate - £8 for 24 hours. What's not to like?!

Although the external appearance of the hotel may not be the most inviting, the friendliness of the staff and good location for the city centre amenities make this an excellent choice for a short stay. Although our room was rather small compared to other Premier Inns we have stayed in, it was very quiet (which we had specifically requested) and...

the overall appearance was scruffy and lacked the homily feel a hotel needs as your home away from home how ever long you are staying. with a few more modern touches and a fresh coat of paint i fee this would be a lot better. the room was small and the furniture was not in the best condition however this...
