We were in Newcastle to visit a friend and have a few days looking around. The Gosforth site was central for us. Every thing you needed was on site, the staff were very good and friendly and the room was clean and tidy as expected. At times a little local road noise from Emergenc

Nice new looking Travelodge with clean, smart room close to the A1 but not close enough to be noisy. Shares a site with a variety of refreshment outlet - pub grub, Subway, Costa, petrol with Co-op, but also McDonalds.

This is a basic hotel for a reasonable price. However, wi-fi is not included in the headline price. Food is available at Macdonald's and Costa on the same site so it is not worth paying for the Breakfast Box.

hi can anyone tell me is there a mini fridge in the room.thankyou
Travelodge are budget hotels and none of their rooms have mini fridges, either in this hotel or any of the others I've ever stayed in. There is a 24 hour Co-op store attached to a petrol station on the same site as this Travelodge (as well as a restaurant and a MacDonalds)

I need to know I can use the car park as have two dogs.
The car park seemed to be big enough and have plenty spaces when we used it. There's a restaurant next door and also a Macdonalds on the same bit, so plenty of spaces
