The room was spotless, the staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was brilliant. The restaurant was closed but there were plenty of eateries in the vacinity as there are shops. We drove and there were plenty of parking spaces at the rear of the hotel. We normally stay at the holiday inn but this will be our ‘place to stay’ in the future. Thank you to all the staff for their assistance.
Stayed here for 5 days as part of an Alph travel coach tour. The hotel was very clean and well organised. The arrangements for dealing with the current covide crisis were more than adequate and made us feel safe. The meals were of a very high standard and the staff were amazing. Highly recommended and great value for money
Our family went here after receiving a Groupon voucher and can highly recommend it. the food was delicious and certainly seemed to be home made, sandwiches fresh and we loved the sausage plat. Just would have liked another pot of tea but we couldn't attract the waitress at the time. all social distancing was adhered to so we felt very safe. thank you.
Holly welcomed us from the onset and she was excellent throughout. Made us feel safe and comfortable at this weird time. We would highly recommend the afternoon tea. A belated mother’s day treat that was worth waiting for. Would go again.
Cannot fault all aspects of the hotel from the staff to the facilities, it’s certainly well worth the money Twin room was big & ticked all the boxes for a pleasant stay Special mention of the COVID measures in place which merits 10/10 Staff could not have been nicer and will certainly stay again , breakfast was first class and we had a meal in the pub attached to the hotel and certainly represented value for money
