Got back from a visit here on Sunday. The reviews left on here are terrible - what more do you expect for £35?? - it's situated in a great location. Drinks are cheap enough and our room (206) was lovely and clean. Paul on reception seemed to be running both reception and the bar as well as a few other...

Room floor is completely uneven, wardrobe tilts at an alarming degree towards the bed, stairs are an absolute hazard and its really hard to find your room Also right off the back of a busy pub That said, the bed worked, and they've worked really hard on making the reception look really nice Glad i had a deal for the...

Exactly what I was looking for, great value for money, welcoming staff, smart rooms, and a great bar down stairs. I visit Newcastle a lot too see family, and I'll definitely be back. Finally, location was brilliant, right in Osborne road.

I would strongly recommend any person thinking about being a guest here to run like the plague (or you could catch it). on the 29th November 2015 I stayed in room 111 for 6 nights and could not wait to leave. I felt the room's hygiene to be very low with dust on the floor to finding a discarded betting...

Stayed here after a day/night out in Newcastle. It's cheap enough (70 for a twin room) but I wouldn't have been happy paying anymore. The kitchens must have been near our room and the burnt oil smell was really unpleasant. We were woken at 8am by water dripping through the ceiling panels from the room above. Staff were pleasant enough...

We had twin room on 2nd floor, really nothing to complain about, it suited us for 2nights, the tv did not have a remote but the girl in reception just took one from the empty room next door to our room ( guess that's maybe where ours went too), having said that this girl was from Lancs very nice and...

This hotel is a good budget option. It is centrally located in West Jesmond, near all the amenities and the Metro station. The rooms are clean. There's a bar that is popular with students and serves food.

Stayed here for the night with two of my friends. We stayed in room 105 - disgusting! The corridor stinks and the ceiling looks water damaged and about to collapse! The floor boards are wobbly and some even feel missing under foot. There were dirty wine glasses in the corridor which were there from when we arrived and still there...

If you overlook the decrepit stairways and corridors, this hotel is fine for a place to 'crash' for a night on the tiles. We've paid twice as much for other hotels on Osborne Road which were nicely decorated but had student parties going on till 1am downstairs. For around £40 you get a comfortable bed, clean room and clean but...
