My boyfriend and I had a wonderful weekend here. It was our first time here and all the staff were friendly and warm and made it a really comfortable stay. The Garden Cottage was our room of choice and it was beautifully furnished. The bathroom was was huge, with locally sourced soaps and shampoo provided. The bed was extremely comfortable...

Had a great time here with very friendly staff. And two great owners who bent over backwards to make our stay as comfortably as possible. Lovely open fire in the sitting room was a welcome sight on the cold nights And a fantastic cooked breakfast as well. Will be back next year.

We received a warm welcome and were treated to a superb breakfast from friendly and efficient staff. The two very friendly dogs were an added bonus to the welcome. Stayed in the Oak room which turned out to be about the size of a tennis court with a huge, very comfortable bed, large bathroom and a decent sized TV. We...

We have stayed at Lilla Cottage for 3 years to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it has always been a wonderful, warm and comfortable place to stay. Beautifully decorated and in a great location, we hope to keep coming back every year.

We stayed at Hemlig for one week in October. The weather was wonderful - shorts and T shirts every day. Woodbridge is a beautiful old market town with plenty of quirky shops and wonderful places to eat. The cottage is ideally placed down a small one way street with little or no traffic. Parking is less than a minute away...

My husband and I stayed one night at The Old Rectory in the Maple room. Two lovely dogs also live there, it made the place feel even more homely and welcoming. Plenty of towels in the bathroom, the bed and linen was very comfortable. Great size room with tea and coffee making facilities, tv and hairdryer. There were a few...

We were pleased that "Funki_chick01" enjoyed her stay with us, the room, its amenities and welcoming feel. At the same time we were naturally concerned by the comments regarding her breakfast, which usually gets rave reviews and was cooked by the same chef, using our regular and local suppliers of produce. (see earlier reviews below) We do well remember the...

I stayed at The Old Rectory last Thursday night so as to be 'in situ' for the special Natural Pantry lunch the next day. As always the service was superb! The lunch certainly did not disappoint! Each course brought a new exquisite taste to my palette, and all the produce was home grown. Celeriac and celery soup, followed by a...

Having visited this charming guest house last year for the first time I managed to get the time to return last week and again found the whole experience utterly charming. My partner and I arrived at this warm and friendly house and felt welcome straight away. The decor has a gentle modern twist which is elegant and homely. This is...

Really difficult to review but if you think of this as staying as a guest in someone's lovely country house rather than expecting a country house or boutique hotel it is great. The surroundings are stunning and linen and towels soft and clean, bed comfortable, breakfast excellent and the hosts charming. On the down side the decor is a little...

My Mother and I have just returned from our first stay (hopefully of many) at the Old Rectory. £110 a night is very reasonable as the twin room 'Yew' was on par with any hotel room we'd stayed in before! It was a nice touch the tea and cake on arrival. The place is very peaceful and it's right next...

We were delighted that Cooks1824 so enjoyed her stay in the Yew Room recently and grateful for the positive feedback. We were also pleased she enjoyed the nearby pub in Easton; it does indeed serve great food. We look forward to welcoming her and her mother back to our lovely part of Suffolk, again soon.
