Stayed at The Bull for just one night and was attending a Christening held at the Bull, my wife and I can't shout the praises of the staff loud enough, they were all without exception very friendly and helpful, we asked to check in early so as to get changed and they went out of their way to accommodate our...

Our friends suggested this hotel for a Saturday lunch and it had been recommended to them . On our arrival ,it was rather manic and packed out. To place an order you had to go too the bar, as there was only one member of staff on duty there. Having placed your drinks order you then had to take them...

Visited The Bull for a late Sunday lunch! Very disappointing! Waited an hour before our food was served and when it arrived, it was tepid! The food itself was tasty, but what was stated on the menu was not on the plate! The staff were very apologetic blaming Head Office for taking "on line" bookings and being busy! If this...

My room (a single) was clean spacious with plenty of towels, hot water heating ect. Food was excellent, but most of all, the staff were amazing. Professional at every level and nothing was too much trouble. First class service at an affordable venue. Would definitely recommend.

Great hotel very helpful and friendly. Great food. Generous portions. Family friendly. Wonderful wedding venue. Lovely spacious room with queen bed and ample space for an extra bed for our child. We had a brilliant stay.

A guest at a 60th birthday party. Beautiful function room in a lovely old building with oodles of character. The meal was delicious and all the staff efficient and friendly. Didnt stay the night so cannot comment on the rooms. The only negative I found the ladies room could do with a bit of a make-over and perhaps some decent...

What a shame that this beautiful hotel serves such poor quality food, We had fish and chips, the fish was very dry with hardly any fish in it. The chips were the worse I'd eaten, in fact I left most of them. Ok so it was only 4.99 but even so, serving up bad quality food even at this price...

We went back to this charming pub/hotel for a relaxing break and for my wife to recover from an illness however it appears that this pub/hotel has had major cut backs on its support and staffing levels. The emphasis seems to be on functions and not resident guests. For example when dining in the bar due to the lack of...

The staff here were mostly great. Very friendly and helpful - they would get 5 out of 5. The food was also very decent. The major issue was that they had a big function on the Saturday evening so the restaurant was closed to other guests. The hotel lounge was also closed to guests for the whole Saturday and most...
