Our room was lovely and the evening meals were excellent with a super choice, excellent wine and the owner was around to ensure all was running well. I travel to the Stowmarket area often, usually travelling down the night prior to meetings and have stayed at several hotels in the area, by far Ravenwood Hall is my favorite hotel. Having stayed in the mews rooms and in the Hall itself, my stays have always been faultless. The rooms have character and the staff and management are attentive,...

We had a wonderfully relaxing weekend at Ravenwood as a birthday treat. It started well, as a minor mix-up over our booking resulted in a free room upgrade, which we greatly appreciated. The accommodation was stunning, the food amazing and the staff simply couldn't do enough to help. I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone looking for a really...

We had high expectations after reading reviews online, and these expectations were definitely met. The best thing about our stay was the friendly service: we were warmly greeted by all staff which really made a difference. The room was spacious and well-decorated (we stayed in St Edmunds room). We had a three-course dinner, of which the starters and desserts were...

Attended a friend birthday dinner and was truly blown away by the amazing service and food. On arrival I had a drink at the bar and was warmly welcomed by the bar staff and assured I was at the correct location for the celebration. The decor is smart but warm, cosy and Old English. We had drinks in a delightful...

After a short drive from Leigh on Sea we reached Ravenwood Hall and found a lovely welcome from the reception staff and were shown into a bijoux ground floor bedroom which was charming and close to the house. I explored the wooded grounds and rested in the comfortable lounge before taking dinner in the stylish dinning room. Above all the...
