I stayed here whilst in the area with work, and while it is dated from the outside and in the hallways, my initial reservations vanished once inside my room. It was absolutely spotless, I couldn't fault it. Comfortable bed, modern and homely decor and the bathroom was actually sparkling it was so clean. I've stayed in much worse 4* big...

I stayed here because of its proximity to work, the staff are great and welcoming. The reception area could do with an update as it looks tired or the alternative is to for the full Fawlty Towers look which may appeal. The bedroom was a good size and had great little features such as being able to connect my iPad...

Stayed here briefly whilst visits the area. The owner initially had no record of our booking but was able to accommodate us. The reception area was dated and first impressions were not that good however the room was clean and of a good standard. Breakfast and breakfast service was also good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall reception and hallways...

Although looking a bit sad from the outside this hotel is a really great find. A 20 minute walk from Yarm, not expensive and comfortable. Old fashioned vibe with all rooms being under literally lock and key and there being an outer door key for if you come in past 11pm, but with recently refurbished rooms to brilliant effect. I've...

My partner booked us into Claireville Hotel, for a night away in Yarm. We were greeted warmly and handed our keys. The room was lovely. Big comfy bed, beautiful bathroom which had a TV in the wall above the bath, fab! All decorated to a high standard. Tea and coffee facilities included and breakfast. We didn't have the breakfast as it was between...

We found this reasonably priced hotel close to the wedding party. The room was clean and the deco was modern and appeared to be recently renewed. The bed was very comfortable with an additional memory foam on top. The staff were friendly and allowed us to get into the room earlier to get ready for the wedding. We had a...

More of a guest house than a hotel. The bed in the room was not comfortable and afforded a poor nights sleep. I had the room above the bar and the occupants voices could be clearly heard until very late in the evening. (1am in my case) The bathroom is very dated and in desperate need of redecoration. There was...

Ok..from the outside,it may look a little dated..and yes, inside too...but,how can you explain to people with their noses in the air...that this is a lovely place to stay.. You can pick faults, but only with the decor...and that is little bits, here and there.. The important thing is that it is clean, warm, the beds cosy, the hosts are welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The Breakfast room is...

Not so much a hotel, more of a B&B. I stayed in room 19 which is up two and a half flights of stairs. No hot water in the sink so used boiled water to wash and shave in the morning. Only saving grace is its close proximity to Yarm where there are lots of restaurants.

Nice place with a warm feel. Very friendly staff and a beautiful breakfast in the morning. The bed was one of the comfiest i have slept in and the big flat screen TV was great. The only downside was there is no restaurant to eat on the night and the bathroom needs upgrading.
