On my second day of a very long business trip. First time I have stayed here, HR booked me in to the hotel and it is superb value for money. Staff are very friendly , it's quite quiet tonight. Rooms are in a separate building, car park has plenty of room. The gym is fantastic, lovely and quiet too, there...

The room was great and they have everything what you need for a short stay. It is a family business, but I never felt the family welcoming. The staff was cold especially in the restaurant, when we arrived for our breakfast the lady asked for our orders without showing us the menu... when she took the order she tried really...

Stayed in a 3 Bedroom Bungalow lodge next door to the Hotel which had an ensuite Toilet / Shower for the Master Bedroom and a full sized Bathroom ,good sized Kitchen and Living room plus a garden at the back. Next door to the eating area was a separate bar area which had loads of interesting signed sports portraits etc...

Nice size room well equipped and better than the average room for the price bracket set around a cricket pitch in an American Motel style makes excellent viewing. Breakfast was again solid and everything you could expect for the price what makes the hotel better than most was the service from the staff where they could help they did and...

We visited this hotel after attending a festival at Donington Park. I was concerned about the time that we might arrive at as usually there are long queues leaving the car park at these festivals and the mud was horrific, so I called the hotel and spoke with the Duty manager Barry about a late check in. Last check in...

Visited this hotel on route to Portsmouth from Scotland. Before booking I phoned to check it would be OK to arrive late at night. The receptionist was very accommodating and said they would make arrangements with us closer to the time regarding late check in. I spoke to them a further twice and each time the staff were extremely helpful...

I stayed overnight and my stay was definitely less than average. Check in was ok, sent back outside and round the building to room 110. Door to room opens directly onto carpark and the dated decor and bathroom with hole in the wall reminded me of Bates Motel (see photos). Luckily the hole was on an inner wall and there...

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review Louise. We are most perplexed about the points you raise and we wish to respectfully answer all of them. We apologise for the small hole under your shaver light. As you state, this was not on an outside wall nor through to another room and it was due to a...

Having stayed here through work I can honestly say it's the best hotel I have stayed at , the friendliness of the staff and cleanliness was second to none. A real family orientated hotel epitomised by the owner and his son being at your beckon call. Bathroom was immaculate and looked like it had been recently refurbed. The food was...

Last minute booking so case of turn up and take what you get. This is Hotel/Motel/Sports Club!. The Hotel part looks after the food, the motel is what it looks liked so I parked my car outside my room and the sports club, because thats what it is.
