I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn, in Stoke for over a month for work. It was clean and quiet. The staff was fantastic. So friendly and helpful. When I was there, we weren't able to eat or drink other than room service, but the meals I had were all very good. The area was a bit 'rough around the edges' but again, we were still in a from of lockdown. There were a couple of great places to eat and drink.

Hotel's Favourite
Me and a friend of mine couldn't believe the price when we looked at somewhere else to stay £53 for a twin room wasn't expecting 2 double beds too had a very good receptionist who was very polite and professional. I have always wanted to stay in a Hilton Hotel myself and it didn't disappoint my expectations had an excellent stay here.

Response from Steve Alty, Sales at Hilton Garden Inn Stoke-on-trent

Hi Daniel3100 Thank you for taking the time to write this wonderful review and we're all really pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. You're right in saying that the beds in our twin rooms are wider than you would find in many hotels. Thank you for mentioning how polite and professional our reception team member was; it's nice to see this recognised by you. Now you've stayed in a Hilton you can tick it off your list and you'll have to stay at another one now. (Maybe ours again). Kind regards Steve Sales Manager Hilton Garden Inn Stoke

I’ve used most of the local hotels, the new Hilton is the newest and smartest. It is absolutely spik and span. The room pricing is pretty good, though dining is overpriced for the quality. Car parking is adequate but costs £5 and is just across the road in Shelton. Rooms are very smart and comfortable. Gym is small with a couple of treadmills, a ski erg, no rowing machine. No pool. Frontage opens on to a nice grassed area. Lots of building going on in the vicinity. Hanley might be nice when it’s finished.

I don't really know where to start. The room was nice, but for the bathroom, which seemed designed to dump as much water as possible on the floor. Honestly it looked like it needed a falls assessment from an OT. In any event the room was otherwise ok but I remain confused by the setup at breakfast. We booked a time, ie come down for that time, but we and other still had to wait. There seemed to be tables free but there didn't seem to be much of a system in place and, in any event, having lots of people wait for their (prebooked slot) in a relatively small waiting area totally defeats the point of having them social distance once seated. Finally having stayed a week or so ago and paid for parking I received a parking fine in the post. I know I paid for this and I know I entered the reg correctly. However there's a point of principle here. Any company which outsources parking to this private parking cowboys doesn't deserve peoples money. Again the setup there is strange. Why can't I just give me registration to staff like in lots of other hotels? Why do you want your guests to be harassed by these cowboys after the fact? Why do people have to enter their own reg details? The whole system is clearly setup to rip people off. Avoid.

Staff at front desk were very rude and unhelpful, I had requested a taxi to be arranged for our family trip to the theme park the next day and the chap at the front desk seemed very put out with the request, after travelling 6/7 hours to get to the hotel and arriving at 23:30 with 2 children I really just wanted to have things arranged for the morning- unfortuntely I had to do this myself the next day. I had requested for our bin to be emptied (as we ended up eating in our hotel room as there was no space in the restaurant) we went out for the day and on our return (9pm) the dirty plate and bin had not been cleared. I had paid £800 for our 3 nights stay and received no water in the room, when I asked reception she had told me that as I was not a hilton honour member, I was not able to receive such perks- had she mentioned that membership is free I would have signed up on the spot. The restaurant staff were very polite and couldn't be more helpful. Our room was clean and we had no problems with it
