Excellent. First time here and would highly recommend. The food and service was great. Harry made sure that we had sufficient food and drink. You are presented with sandwiches cakes and scones and clearly explained that if you want more of anything just ask. We didn’t as we found it was more than enough so much so we brought some home with us. My husband had the gentleman’s tea which he highly recommends. There was plenty of staff on and it was just a pleasure to come here. We will be returning in the future.

Very beautiful building and very tasty Sunday lunch. Me and my wife brought my elderly grandad and they looked after him brilliantly, making sure he was comfy and making a fuss over him. Generous portion sizes. Will definitely be back in the future.

I attended a wedding here a couple of days ago and I couldn’t fault it at all ! The food was delicious and well presented, the staff were superb, they were very helpful and polite. I would like to say a special thank you to Ollie he was there throughout the day and worked so hard, he constantly had a smile on his face and ran the day perfectly. He went out of his way to help my elderly mother get up the stairs as she struggles walking and made sure we were ok throughout the day ,nothing was to much trouble for him at all. I would recommend Weston hall to anyone and hope to return soon !

We attended the wedding of a couple who are good friends of ours. Most of the day went well however after the wedding breakfast my glass of tap water was removed from me at the table, considering I am 6 months pregnant and that’s about as much as I can drink at the minute I asked if I could keep it and was very rudely told twice no go to the bar and get one! The same member of staff was rude to two of our friends on the evening and we weren’t impressed at all. The room wasn’t cleaned properly as we found labels out of clothing from previous guests and the corners of the room were dusty and dirty. The wedding music we all felt was too loud and not music anyone could dance to so the dance floor was empty most of the night even though the couple had given a play list. I would not be revisiting any time soon.

Whatever has happened at Weston Hall Hotel? We booked our first meal out in 18 months to celebrate our anniversary. Weston was always our choice of 'somewhere special ', in fact we held our daughter and son in laws wedding reception there 2 years ago. When we arrived at 7pm the restaurant was just about half full. We ordered and waited, and waited... Eventually the waitress came and apologised for the wait and asked if she could bring us some bread 'to nibble on'. At first we refused, but at her insistence we agreed as she said she didn't want us to be starving before our meal came. We still waited about 15 minutes for the bread to arrive. We eventually got our main courses exactly 1 hour after ordering. Sadly my salmon was uncooked in the centre and the meal only like warm. My husband chose the haddock which looked overcooked. When he cut into it he struggled to actually find any fish! It was mainly overcooked batter. We did mention it and were offered a complimentary dessert as compensation. This is the first time my husband has ever complained about a meal anywhere! After leaving the restaurant he looked at the itemised bill as he felt it was a little high, only to find that we had we had been charged £9.95 for the bread!!! NEVER have we paid for bread served with a meal... and the way it was presented to us we believed it was by way of an apology for the unacceptably long wait for our meal. It will be a long time before we go back to Weston Hall and certainly will not be recommending it to anyone. To sum up ... appalling main meals, extremely overpriced for what we got including just short of £4 for a small coffee and unacceptable waiting times!
