Stayed here two nights. Lovely welcome, lovely people and a adorable snoring dog called Rupert. Nice room with a balcony looking over a lovely garden and great views. Breakfast was good quality and tasty- they have something for everybody (Anything specific not a problem if asked for night before). The fruit salad and juice is a lovely touch when you...

Steve and Stephanie Trebble are delightful, charming, very helpful and accommodating hosts. Their home is a 100-year-old three or four story brick home built in classic Edwardian style. Steve and Stephanie have fully renovated the home to return it to its original style and grace. The home has been fitted throughout with period pieces of furniture and décor that make...

During a Mendip Way walking trip we stayed one night at this nice and comfortable B&B. We felt very welcomed by our friendly hosts and got two clean and nicely decorated bedrooms on suite. One room had a balcony with a lovely view into the nice garden. In the morning they served a well prepared and generous breakfast. Stefanie arranged...

We received a warm welcome and were shown into bright clean rooms. Inside the house was impeccable, furnished in a traditional style, and the gardens looked glorious in the sunlight. We had views from our balcony to St Cuthberts and to Glastonbury Tor. Our hosts knew Wells very well and explained clearly how to get to where we wanted to...

Lovely rooms, comfy beds and generous and delicious breakfast. Came here with the family for one night. Walking distance to the town centre. Wish we had had more time to relax in their lovely garden. They were also very accommodating as we changed our booking at the last minute. Will be back!!

As a group of 3 couples from Germany, all in our fifties, we spent 3 nights at Highfield House as from 10th June and had a totally enjoyable time at Stephanie’s and Steve’s lovely period home. There is ample off-street parking and the city centre is only a leisurely stroll away. We were accommodated in Rose, Daffodil and Ivy; the...

Two mad lost Australians made feel very welcome by Stephanie, even giving us precise directions on how to find her, after a phone call looking for accommodation. Beautiful spacious room, bright and cheery with a lovely view. Stephanie and Steve were the perfect hosts and were not only very welcoming but a great source of information about the beautiful city...

My son & I stayed for one night during the third week in June and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our host was most helpful in providing directions to restaurants, pubs etc. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was first class, both in quality and surroundings. If I return to Wells I will definitely attempt...

By chance I came to this B & B. The reception was very friendly, the room and the bathroom spacious. Everything is in very good condition. Especially the breakfast has it all. It is abundant and good, and you take it in a beautiful dining room.

Lovely b and b, I disagree with any mention of cigarette smoke. The room was smart and clean, the bed very comfortable and the balcony was lovely. The bathroom was good with a lovely shower. It has a fantastic location, very close to Wells centre. The breakfast (full english, cereals, fruit, toast and coffe) was excellent in a lovely dining...
