Such a disappointment, historical building great atmosphere real ale pub. We both ordered steak and ale pie it was totally inedible, potatoes and vegetables way undercooked. Tasted rancid. This place has really gone downhill for food 😢

Room comfortable and warm

There is a car park directly behind the hotel which we have used on a few occasions and it works out approx. £6 a day and never had a problem. Occasionally, we have used street parking but this can very limited. There are a few car parks around and we have used them and never experienced any problems. It is a great place to visit.
