5 of us had Xmas day lunch at this pub, the scallops for starters were nice but only had 3 each and they were very small, one of us only got 2 on a plate ! We did mentioned this and they brought another one...More
We went to the George and pilgrim with friends for Christmas we had a great time and the Christmas dinner was excellent . The staff where very friendly there was a great atmosphere and the service was excellent a great place to stay.

There is a car park directly behind the hotel which we have used on a few occasions and it works out approx. £6 a day and never had a problem. Occasionally, we have used street parking but this can very limited. There are a few car parks around and we have used them and never experienced any problems. It is a great place to visit.
