We had a very comfortable and relaxed stay with Joan while we looked for a house to buy in Glastonbury. A comfortable bed and bathroom surrounded by all Joan's art and objects of interest. Brilliant value - great breakfast of cereals and toast. Relaxing atmosphere.

Enjoyed a wonderful three night stay with Joan, in comfortable surrounds that feel like home. Joans property is full of interesting art works, sculptures and art books. The house is ideally situated for the high street, Chalice Gardens or for a climb up the Tor. Wells, Frome and Street are a short drive away and are well worth a visit....

I stayed in the "small" double room (which seemed a decent size to me) while my parents had the larger room. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom is very nicely done and the shower worked fine. Room has everything that you could need, TV had good reception and same with the wifi. The location is brilliant as it is just up...

My husband, daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights. Joan is very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The B&B had a relaxed atmosphere and is well situated by the High Street and the road leads to the Tor and Chalice Well. The beds were comfortable and the smaller room had a lovely view of Glastonbury Tor. There...

The perfect B&B. A relaxed home from home atmosphere crafted by the wonderful Joan, and her eclectic decor. The moment the door opened I was hooked by the paintings, rugs, comfy sofas and the books. We took the small room, and were delighted with it. Breakfast was a memorable laid back experience, sitting at the kitchen table with our host...

I've stayed twice with Joan now, once when my son was 6 months and more recently at 18 months. It's a lovely home, very atmospheric and interesting, and Joan is a really accommodating (and entertaining) person who loves kids. We've enjoyed good breakfasts and great recommendations for things to do in the area. We especially enjoyed learning more about the...

Me and the family stayed with Joan for 2 nights a few weeks ago. We were happy she let us come even though she was not there the first night so we had the whole house to ourselves. The place is cosy and filled with art! The room was great for us. Our son loved sleeping on the mattress on...

Where do I begin!? Still upset and distressed by our horrible experience. We booked a 'Family Room' months in advance, and the owner knew we would be traveling with a 3 year old toddler and a 1 year old baby. HOWEVER when we finally arrived after a full day travelling there was no one at the b&b when we arrived,...

Heather Bryson booked a family room at my house several months ago for three nights. She asked for, I quote, "A room for two adults, a 3yr old and a 1yr old, we are on a very tight budget, we'd be happy for a travel cot and a double bed and a single bed or a mattress on the floor....

We stayed here for a four nights in March and had an excellent break. The owner Joan is most welcoming and helpful with local information. The accomodation is relaxed and comfortable with lots of artwork to interest you while you eat breakfast or relax in your room. Breakfast is just what I like - great cereal and fresh fruit -...
