This accommodation is top of the range in our book. The room was specious, the bed huge and comfortable!!! The bathroom was spick and span, the place was cosy, the communal kitchen was very large and had everything you needed. The hosts were FANTASTIC - they even stopped to have a wine with us and tell their stories which was...

We booked last minute without having a chance to read any reviews so we were not sure what to expect. Upon our arrival we were glad to see the location and presentation did not disappoint. The hotel is very centrally located (only a few minutes walk to the city centre) and the price included parking, breakfast and use of wi-fi....

Have just come back from Roban House where we spent a thoroughly happy weekend. We stayed for three days and wished we could have stayed longer. The owners are a couple widely read (great pleasure to talk to especially about history of Bath and England) and travelled who know how to make your visit special. The room had everything we...

Agree with some of the reviews written before. Should only ask for a deposit, never had to pay for the complete stay beforehand, very overpriced for what you get. Very poor breakfast, no fruit offered, toast not on the table. Just ordinary sliced bread, no chioce on how your egg is cooked. Did not like the fact you had to...

Our room was spotless, really nicely decorated & had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable & the bathroom was a great size. The atmosphere was really good & it was peaceful; we felt very much at home there. Breakfast was delicious. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. What makes Roban House exceptional, though, is the fact that it...

We stayed the first night in a five star hotel, present for our anniversary, after which we moved to Roban House to save money. We could not believe our eyes when we found exactly the same towels and bed linen that we had the previous night in the very expensive hotel.  We enjoyed our stay at Roban House very much....

We had high hopes after seeing good ratings from others. Clean room and comfy bed. But expensive, especially as there is no breakfast on offer. You have to be out by 10 a.m. and you get a ticking off if you leave the front door open for 30 seconds! They'll also try to make you pay £10 per day for...

We had the most enjoyable romantic weekend, so much so that we wanted to take the bed with us. we slept very well and were very comfortable. The rooms were very clean smartly decorated and had all the mod cons we needed. the price was very reasonable, there was parking and only a short walk to the city centre.

The reviews promised much, but the room was small, decorated cheaply and for an expensive price tag, offered little confort. Our host tried hard to please, but with no communal space to realx or eat, it lacked the home from home experience and felt like we we're simply payign fro the spare room. Shame, stunning city. Had a great stay...

We made Roban House our base for two weeks whilst exploring Bath and the South West. This was the safest place we have ever stayed in. We were very happy to leave our passports and other valuables in the room as we were very impressed with the security locks and doors and the personality of the hosts. There was plenty...
