After reading the reviews, my partner and I were lucky enough to book a room at this lovely B&B last minute on a Monday night. The house is superb and has a really nice feeling to it upon arrival. Toni was a very chilled out and relaxed host. We were spending the evening at Hudsons Restaurant in Bath and Toni...

a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Chestnuts. Toni is fantastic and his thoughtful personal touches are everywhere. He has a vast knowledge of the area and is very helpful. We had visited bath before so it was great that Toni recommend some lesser known but truely special actractions. It feels like a home away from home with a concierge the equal...

We recently spent 2 nights at Chestnuts House and found everything about it first class. The room and en-suite were luxurious and very well equipped, the breakfast was fabulous (with an excellent selection) and we found that the staff couldn't do enough for us. We found the location ideal as it was a pleasant 10 minute stroll into the city....

Stayed here for 2 nights, based on reading previous reviews on the site, and had good-sized double room on ground floor. The house is beautifully kept, with a smart lounge, and elegant breakfast room overlooking pretty gardens, plus free parking on the driveway. It's an easy 10 minute stroll from the centre of town. The real stand out feature is...

The other reviews say it all. Excellent location, perfect hosts, spotlessly clean, very comfortable rooms etc etc. Breakfast was one of the best we've ever had and we were glad we stayed 3 nights so we could try some of the excellent choices (eggs benedict was to die for). Can't imaging anywhere better to stay in Bath where you just...

My 13 year old son and I stayed here for two lovely nights in July 2009 as part of a six week tour around Europe. We had a fantastic stay. Toni and his staff could not have been more helpful - from navigating us through the streets of Bath to Chestnuts when the GPS ran out of battery, to arranging...

Excellent B& B of the highest standard. Rooms very comfortable, spotlessly clean and ceiling fan was very welcome in double room. Toni could not have been more helpful, recommending & booking a lovely Italian restaurant. Breakfast was delicious, something for everyone, my eldest daughter particularly enjoyed the pancakes! The only problem was we were only staying 1 night! Would love...

My parents and I stayed at Chestnuts House in the triple room and we loved everything about our stay. The location is great, just a 10 minute walk across the bridge to the main attractions. Free parking was also a bonus and good that it was off-street. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and the bed was probably the most...

My wife and I were in Bath for the week end for a hot air balloon ride and to spend some time at the Spa and in the many interesting shops Bath has to offer. I know Bath extremely well and find the hotels to either be very drab or extrmely overpriced (albeit high quality). On recent visits to Bath...
