We've stayed in a lot of hostels and know that you get what you pay for, but we've paid the same for much better hostels! The staff were friendly, and the laundry service was useful, beds were comfortable and linen was clean - that's the good. The bad: the pillows are SO THIN, i looked around and everyone in the...

Stayed here recently the beds were comfy with clean linen and staff were friendly and helpful. But the except the beds the whole place was filthy I know you get what you pay for but it was disgusting layers of dust grime and dirt on everything you touch toilets and showers were beyond a joke! The "party dungeon" was a...

I've stayed in hostels all throughout Europe at different prices, and have to say this was grim. The staff were very accommodating , but can't really polish a.. Shame really, it could do with a bit of money into the wash facilities and that alone would improve it so much. It's quite a nice old building, and the station and...

Staying in a backpackers is always to do with price and since Bath is an expensive place to visit, it can be the only option for some people. On a budget price you have to have budget expectations but this hostel had some major flaws. There were only 3 showers and they were in the basement. Our room was on...

It's a hostel... We were not expecting anything very fancy and it was just good, we spent 2 nights and we got a 3rd floor room, it was a 10 people room and it was not really a warm weather so I think we got lucky. Expect some noise (in a room with another 9 people) someone surely will get...

Bath Backpackers is located very conveniently a short walk from the railway station and coach station, right in the city center. However, this is about the only good thing about the hostel. The price was fairly cheap, but I would definitely recommend spending a bit more to get a better accommodation. The dorms are not very nice and there are...

The wifi here was hardly ever working except early in the morning before every one got on. It had a good kitchen with 2 stoves, many fridges, lots of utensils, but dishes were required to be washed and dried and the tea towels used were often dirty. In our room (Brutus) there was not enough power points and some were...

Room was very small and uncomfortable. On the fifth floor and no lift- inconvenient with big backpacks and luggage. Bathrooms/ showers were on the lower ground level and therefore found myself walking up and down 5 flights of stairs just to use the bathroom/ shower. Floors were very loud and walls very thin- made sleeping a good nights sleep difficult...

I've been backpacking around the UK for about a month and a half and I think this is likely the worst accommodation I've had thus far. As other people mentioned, the location is great but the facilities are not. The showers are in the basement (and the female showers have a motion sensor, so be prepared for the light to...

As Bath is quite expensive, the Hostel was okay priced for what we needed for our weekend away. The price includes use of towels and lockers for valuables (bring your own padlock). The location of the Hostel is great as it is only a ten minute walk from Bath Spa Train Station and about a ten minute walk to all...
