Booked a two night stay at the Edgar Townhouse the day before we arrived and we were pleasantly surprised. The location is great, Great Pulteney Street is a beautiful street and only a ten minute walk from the city centre. We booked the cosy double room and it was exactly that. It felt very comfortable with lovely decor but because...

easy access to town centre, ground floor rooms small but perfectly usable, clean and modern shower room. Friendly staff, ample breakfast with lots of different choices. Parking is in the street, some were lucky and got a place outside, we had a short walk.

Great location, close to shops/restaurants etc and the parking for £8 for the whole stay was a definite bonus. Lovely full English breakfast. We stayed in a 'cosy double' and it was just that. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel is in a lovely street, in walking distance of town. Pleasant and helpful staff, hotel is clean and well decorated throughout. Our room was on lower ground floor and on one of the three nights we stayed could hear floorboards creaking with movement above, during the night. Comfortable bed. Good choice of breakfast. Wifi in all rooms. Shower in...

We arrived in Bath late around 4pm. It was getting dark and we'd already got lost, so we parked the car and followed our nose into the town centre where the Christmas market was in full swing. We wandered into the information Bureau who were very helpful and booked the Edgar Townhouse for us. Our room on the top floor..it...

Very nice hotel, close to the city. (10 minutes walk). Set in a grand avenue. Classic Bath building. Our room was on the 2nd floor. Note that there is no lift. Room was quite small, but perfectly comfortable. Views overlooking the park. Staff very friendly and helpful. Somewhat expensive for this type of hotel, but I guess this is what...

Typically old fashioned traditional English bed and breakfast type hotel ideally located in Bath's grandest street. Lovely and quaint inside, the staff very helpful. Bedrooms were a good size, looking out onto the rugby ground and the re-furbished bathroom was very modern. Overall a good night's sleep!

The Edgar Townhouse is close to Pulteney Bridge and the city centre. The rooms are attractive and modern and the owner/staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a wide range of breakfast options on the menu with locally sourced eggs, sausages, etc. My favourite over the four night stay was scrambled eggs and salmon. This was always well cooked...

My mother and I stayed at The Edgar Townhouse in early July and had a great experience. We stayed for three nights and everyone was very nice. It is about a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel to the center of town. Breakfast was delicious and the folks running the place were kind enough to let us have an earlier-than-usual...
