I stayed for two nights in this hotel in June 2014. The reception clerk was most helpful, even parking my car in the only (tight) space left. My single room was small but quite adequate. The shower room/toilet was spotless. I had clean towels both days. Its central position was a bonus and the spacious and comfortable lounge bar very...

This hotel was a pleasure to stay in. I stayed here with my 2 children in October 2012. It's close walking distance to the city attractions and restaurants made this a great place to stay. It has a great lounge to unwind in with a nice drink after a day of sightseeing. The rooms are beautiful with nice high Georgian...

Obviously you are paying for the location, similar hotels in the area seemed about £50 more per room. For a 1 night stay where after a long walk from Bristol to Bath along the River Avon, we just wanted a place to crash for the night after a few beers, it was fine. If you are staying longer in Bath...

We arrived at the hotel in a good mood and looking forward to a good friend's wedding.....I left half an hour later fuming! The once friendly receptionist had turned into one of the most arrogant men I've ever met! Don't get me wrong, I have slept in some really dodgy hotels and hostels in my time, but this one really...

On arrival the "hotel" seemed very dated (no real big deal) and a little muggy, at the time the receptionist was fairly welcoming. When we walked up the stairs (no lift) to the third floor i was mortified, the room stank of stale cigarettes, was dirty, damp and had a variety of stains, the double bed sloped to the centre!!...

Location- Amazing Staff- Very Friendly and helpful Cleanliness-Room was clean and was even cleaned when I was out and I was provided with fresh towels (which I didn't expect). Although there was a mark on the bedding before I used it and the kettle was dirty inside. Accommodation- Cold, noisy and not very comfortable. I had a larger room than...

Our room, the room booked online, looked pretty enough The bed had little padding and we found ourselves sleeping on wire springs There was a bad odour in the "ensuite" that was there when we arrived and did not go away. The bar and lounge area was reasonable, but I would discourage you from staying at this hotel

This hotel is a disgrace. Ok so it's not the most expensive place to stay in a very expensive city but it's not cheap either. The decor is outdated. The carpet is thread bare and the carpet grips were exposed in our room. The wall paper was coming off the walls and the springs in our bed were broken so...

Turned into the tightest car park in Bath, which they charge £10 per night at weekends to use, then entered a terribly shabby and run down hotel to be met with a distinct lack of service. The room on the top floor was dirty, run down and in desperate need of painting and doing up. This is very much a...

Having sighted me drive into the car park (CCTV?), the obnoxious receptionist demanded car park payment in full, and room payment in full, both in advance. No payment made, no room key given, regardless of wanting to sit down after the journey I'd made. Struck me as a very odd service, unwelcoming. Queried it, but answers remained the same. Hotel...
