Booked this hotel after reading the reviews and was not disappointed. From the warm, friendly greeting on arrival to the beautiful rooms, slipper bath and Molton Brown products, this hotel is first class. The staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was fabulous, with lots of choice. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk into...

We were emailed directions before arrival and were made very welcome. The room was lovely and clean, very comfy bed and amazing slipper bath! (Molton brown products) The staff were very helpful and went above and beyond even offering to send up breakfast to my poorly husband. Fabulous breakfast, lots of options. Beautiful decor throughout, clean and with attention to...

I booked this after reading all of the wonderful reviews. I was not disappointed. The hotel is lovely and the staff made us feel welcome. The rooms are beautiful! Breakfast was hearty and generous and offered a significant number of delicious selections. The hotel is a bit of a walk to Bath (we were told 30 minutes, the cab rides...

I booked this place after reading all the great reviews about the rooms. We stayed in the Champagne room and it was really nice. The best thing for us on our trip was how friendly and nice the staff were to us. Upon arrival the owners where great and always smiling and offering help. The breakfast was a good set...

I've just got back from a lovely 2 night weekend break with my fiancé. The hotel was fabulous- we stayed in the Copenhagen which was on the lower ground. There wasn't much light but the room was beautifully appointed with an impressive en-suite with a slipper bath. It was perfect for a romantic weekend. The owners of the hotel couldn't...

Our one night stay at Apsley house couldn't have been more relaxing, we checked in late (10pm) after being at dinner and elsewhere and this was no problem for staff who were waiting to greet us and got us settled quickly. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, one of the best nights sleep in a while. The room and...

Me and my partner stayed here the past couple of nights and a 5 star rate doesn't do it justice. Not only are the rooms so uniquely and beautifully designed but they are spotlessly clean (I am very fussy with cleanliness!). The staff couldn't be more accommodating and are very friendly and bubbly. Breakfast in the dining room was delicious...

We enjoyed our 3-night stay in Bath immensely and were delighted with the Apsley House Hotel, the friendly and helpful staff, the lovely character of the house, the pretty garden, the welcoming lounge with its big fire on a February evening, our charming room, the view from our window, the very comfortable bed, the cleanliness, the peacefulness, the delicious breakfasts,...

Spent weekend here in February. Excellent room at top of house, quiet and with great bathroom. Brilliant breakfast and helpful staff keen to please. As another reviewer has written, if anyone wants to learn how to run a business like this, come here. It's not in the middle of Bath, but having witnessed the traffic chaos/one way system, that is...
