Stayed for only one night in Bath and found Oldfields very pleasant. As we didn't have a car, we walked into the main part of town for dinner (10 mins). The room was well kitted out with self serve coffee and tea. The breakfast was delicious. All the ladies we dealt with were very accommodating and friendly.

Warm welcome but .......Room 8 was very elegantly decorated and furnished but the Kingsize Bed (two singles put together, so not really a Kingsize) was far far to big for the room size, it would make a wonderful single. Sadly foam pillows and noisy because it is by the kitchen and under the stairs. Very warm room, small window, we...

We stayed here for new year! We were greeted with a cup of tea in the drawing room! It was truly lovely!!! The room was very clean and comfy and tea and coffee was in the room with little shortcake things! There was a wide collection of DVDs available in case you want a quiet night in. The B and...

We chose Oldfields House primarily for its location, just a few blocks from the Royal Photographic Society HQ where my husband was presenting his portfolio for the Society's Associate-level status. It turned out to be the perfect place to stay, just far enough from the village to afford us enough walking to adjust our body clocks to European time. At...

I just spent a lovely weekend in room 10 at Oldfields. The B&B is set in a Victorian house, about a 15 minute walk from the Roman baths (uphill, so you might want to consider this). The staff are extremely attentive and kind. We asked for recommendations for a cosy pub and they appeared to possess endless knowledge about Bath...

We stayed here for 2 nights in December as a relaxing mini break before christmas and loved everything about Bath and found Oldfields House to be the perfect base. The main reason we chose this B&B was the close location and the free parking. Being just a 15 minute walk (tops!) from the main centre of Bath it's just perfect....

We picked this B&B for a few reasons - to start with it has had great comments on TripAdvisor, they are not right in the middle of Bath and they offer parking. The B&B is an easy, short walk from the centre of Bath and is very comfortable. The staff were extremely hospitable and friendly. We stayed for one night...

My mother and I stayed one night here, travelling from London to Cornwall. It was a convenient stopover location, with very warm and friendly hosts. The location is on a small hill, up from the town centre, with ample parking. If you enjoy walking, the town centre is within easy reach by foot, otherwise driving is no problem. Our room...

I stayed here early December with my fiance and we had high hopes, the reviews are certainly mainly glowing so I was a little surprised that customer service attention to detail was missing and a bit stuffy. I chose this hotel over others as it supposedly had a room with a double bed free. No - it was two singles...

We are sorry that this guest did not find Oldfields to be of the standard that other reviews had led him to hope for. We are however puzzled by some of his comments If this guest had booked a double room, then he would have slept in a double bed. What the guest booked was one of our King /...

This was my second visit to Oldfields, I love the way they run the place, they cannot do enough to ensure you have a pleasent stay. I stayed in the loft room (15) which had a smaller shower toilet and sink ensuite, the shower was very powerful so perfect for me. Window was slightly annoying as it didn't shut properly...
