The staff at this b&b were very helpful and informative on arrival. The place is a nice 10 minute walk into the city centre. Rooms were clean and the b&b was generally pretty quiet. Breakfast was also very enjoyable.

Ours was a last minute booking as a stopover on our way back from London to Wales. We were given clear instructions on how to access our room as we were arriving after the reception closed. I just can't speak highly enough of this establishment - the attention to detail in the rooms, the spotlessness of every part of the...

After our booking confirmation at a nearby hotel failed to make its way to them, oldfields house came to our rescue and luckily had vacancies. We had a lovely king size room which was available to us, last minute. On arrival, we were shown some maps and how to reach town by foot. This was a good 10/15 min walk...

I booked a room at Oldfields for my boyfriends Birthday and we were invited in with a warm welcome, were told about Bath and where the best places to go were, which was great as we didn't know the area and then were shown to our room. After a quick scan for dust or dirt (yes I'm one of those...

A beautiful bed and breakfast tucked into the hillside a mere 10 minute walk down the hill into Bath. Remember coming back requires more effort after a few sherbets !! We had room 8 which even though near the kitchen was so so quiet. Not a huge room but lovingly furnished and a very comfortable king size bed. Great sleep....

We stayed in the loft room (very small at the top) for 2 nights. This hotel is clean, well-decorated and good value for money. There is plenty of choice for breakfast and friendly staff. We paid £170 for 2 people including breakfast...no complaints!

I would strongly recommend this Hotel to anyone. Good location, good service, lovely rooms. Only a 10-15 minute walk to the City attractions and Restaurants. The walk back up the hill helped to walk our excellent meal at Sotto Sotto off.

Had a two night stay at old fields and it was absolutely lovely. Very warm welcome by (we presume) lady owner. Bedroom was clean well decorated and comfy bed- lovely view too! Breakfast was great. About £5 in a taxi to centre or a 10 minute walk to the train station. Would definitely stay again. Thanks

Beautiful old house with super helpful staff and excellent breakfast. This place is elegant without being stuffy. Staff were very helpful with advice and assistance, and the walk into town was easy and scenic. DVD library was a plus; the room was spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended.
