I have just returned from a two night trip and the whole experience was wonderful from start to finish. Every member of staff I encountered was friendly, helpful and sincere. My single room, number 7, was up in the eaves but the stairs were very easily manageable. I encountered no noise from the road as the double-glazing was excellent. The...

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a brilliant time. Oldfields is a lovely period house and decorated accordingly. We were in one of the loft rooms which was lovely and great value for money. The breakfast is amazing with a brilliant choice to choose from. All of the staff we meet were really friendly. The hotel is situated...

Stayed earlier in Oct for 2 weekend nights & paid £80/single room B&B - Room 5, in the eaves and up two flights of stairs (no lift). I won’t stay here again because it was noisy, both from the road, bad plumbing, other guests rooms/proximity & the room was too small, prob 8ft x 5ft. For example, the shower (no...

It was a good location to Bath. Could walk in, although it was uphill on the return trip to the Hotel. Parking was almost impossible for the amount of cars & guests staying. We were given a 'Residence Card ' to park out in the street about one block away. Being an older Hotel there were plenty of stairs to...

We stayed one night at oldfields my husband booked it as a birthday treat so I didn't know until we got there. The room was small with an even smaller bathroom and dirty shower. On entering the room gill the receptionist who was extremely nice and knowledgeable of the area mentioned there was a noise and went in the bathroom...

We stayed at the Oldfields House for two nights in October. We were very pleased with our stay and I would highly recommend this guesthouse. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and informative and the room was lovely. We opted for the room with the four poster bed and spa bath. And we were not disappointed. The décor is...

We stayed one night in room number 1 on the first floor with a view over the garden and across to the town. A cosy room with comfortable roomy queen sized bed (lovely soft pillows). The bathroom was small but the shower was good and large fluffy towels were provided. No traffic noise with the window closed. A lovely open...
